I want to thank Mark and Latasha for unbelievable experience. Leaving SA was like leaving your grandparents house where you spent your summer vacation! You didnt want to leave because they treated you so nice and spoiled you just like SA did to us. I love my grandparents and I love South Africa!!!!
Wow 😭 I guess someone is chopping onions here. We love you big time.
I'm glad you enjoyed bro. This is home.
We love you too brother
Welcome back home🙌🙌🙌 We miss you already, come back soon💖
Hope to see you back home soon (in December)!
Welcome home children of the soil, remember you're African by blood and spirit
You know someone had a blast when they say, "I am coming back in December". Yeah, December is lit here, it's our holiday/vacation season. Wonderful couple and kids.
WHATTT??!! Two years later and our interview pops up TWICE in the feed at the RIGHT timing. Last year I thought of reaching out to you gyz AGAIN about setting up a personal real estate tour for us, and this interview POPPED up. It freaked me out, but I took it as confirmation and went with it. Our house there will be completed soon! Today this interview POPPED up AGAIN 2 days after getting our visas back WTH 😮
We thank you gyz SO much for all that you've done for our family. We're making our way back, and will be reaching out to you AGAIN to check out Durban and CT. YOU'RE THE BEST!! 🎉

We found ourselves in South Africa, some found themselves in Ghana etc. What matters is that any person who wants to live in South Africa/Ghana/Rwanda etc and can afford doing so, let them do so. At least someone's keeping it real. I love S.A. as well, but it is important to give a balanced perspective.

Just imagine if all black Americans come African with the knowledge and everything africa would be rich
Africa is rich already,I don't think it's desperate for help.thats my opinion.
@@colin60366 100%✔
@@colin60366 actually, africa is in need of a ton of doctors, engineers, and other highly skilled professionals, to meet the needs it has. i mean, if people in the u.s. complain there is a shortage of internal medicine/general practitioner doctors, imagine the need in africa. but your pride and probably slight disdain for black americans prevent you from recognizing these facts.
@@orangemoonglows2692 fair enough assuming that most black people in America are doctors and engineers what is the education gap between black Americans and every other racial group in America. The most educated people in those professions are not black Americans so your point would be let other races go take over Africa so it can be rich like American according to your understanding.i am assuming that you have not been to Africa yourself because you seem to think that Africa is a country not a continent by the way Americans are by far the most poor people in the sense that majority of people live on credit cards a very small number owns land or property. Finally your understanding of being rich is showing that it's so shallow you think the West holds the standard of life all over the world. The reason why people are moving to Africa in large numbers is because they have found it to be better in some places.I hope you will visit Africa someday you will find out that material things is not the only thing that will equate someone to being rich.
What knowledge?
We love you beautiful family God bless you

To see black people in every luxury car that bypasses you is quite the opposite of being in the states. It's rare to see and some of us even turn in our luxury cars because police stop us more with them in the states. So many encouraging things to see in SA. It really feels like a home away from "home". I think November to Feb is the best time to visit!!
Just had a friend get stopped here in the states he was driving a newish Cadillac and first thing the police said was..hey that's a nice car!

@@julianprice2632 All African Americans should not be ashamed of what they believed Africa to look like based on mainstream media broadcasting. What African Americans think of Africa prior exposure is not very different from what some South Africans thinks of many other African nations in the continent due to stereotypes that were constantly spread around through mainstream media. I love the fact that you guys can find joy in the continent of Africa now that you have seen the lies. Also, my is heavy for many African Americans who may not have means to make the transition even if they want to because I would suffocate in constantly hearing someone telling me to go back to Africa just because I am an African. African Americans are generally loved here in the continent, more so in South Africa. I don't know much about ghe rest o the continent, it is too big

Dude, I’m a huge fan and have been watching your channel for quite some time now...I absolutely love it...I’m saying this in jest “tongue in cheek” but your channel could easily be renamed “The Real Johannesburg” 😜 no seriously though, as someone originally from Cape Town, I truly love Jhb, having lived there myself for 16 years but I’m hoping you extend your channel to introducing the people back home in the US to everything that Cape Town has to offer (as well as other parts of the country)...I can so easily see you and your wife put packages together that will really blow the minds of your US counterparts, taking them to all the beautiful places that Cape Town has to offer, leaving them in awe and with the most memorable experiences...e.g. winelands, short sunrise hikes up Lions Head, Table Mountain, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Shark Cage Diving, Aquila Safari, Sunset Boat Cruises, fine cuisine, Food Markets etc etc. Who knows, perhaps you guys can breakaway for an entire summer and just soak it all up at the coast, emerging yourselves with the locals and learn more than what you already know about life in Cape Town? And in doing so, taking us South Africans and the US audience on the journey along with you guys 👍🏻😉
Cape Town landscape is awesome but social cohesion.... Cape Town is lovely to many people as a tourist destination. This is true even for most South Africans who can easily afford to buy and live in Cape Town
@@helpermlekeleli8057 ;-) I’ve had this discussion plenty of times over the years and it’s apparent that their are two schools of thought on this matter...nonetheless, it’s irrelevant (no disrespect) as my objective stems from having watched so many TRSA videos...is to sell South Africa and all its diverse beauty to the many of the naive Americans that come over for the first time with their preconceived mindsets about our country. What I’ve seen is that they are indeed blown away and pleasantly surprised when visiting our country but mostly having being taken aback on what they experienced in Johannesburg which as previously stated, a city I myself am quite fond of...but it would be nice to to hear their experiencing and thoughts on Cape Town, given the constant negative report they receive from their US media and news networks about South Africa as a whole. Where they decide to reside (should they decide to make that transition) is entirely their choice...but giving them options so diverse as CT to Durban to Johannesburg would be....I guess mind blowing to them, leaving them with so much to take in and talk about when they fly back home.
@@Van_Wilder Yeah I fully understand and you're absolutely right. I wish the company can respond in this conversation as well. However, the AAs do visit Cape Town and Durban, especially those that come for a month or 90 days. I am remembering Millicent and Asha who visited both Durban and Cape town as well to see what it like. What I have picked up is that for those who want to make a transition to the country, it is largely about culture than the scenery. Hence, Johannesburg is always likely to a preferred choice because it is a point of departure to any other destination. Also, social life is better here in Johannesburg than the other two metros, economic environment is also mjch better in joburg than the other two metros. If was coming from a country where black people are harrassed and does not have much economic power, I wouldn't want to be subjected to the Western Cape socio-economic realities which project a black person as a servant than an equal player. Joburg is like Wakanda for some black folks. Mark had stayed in Clifton beach and loved it but in terms of culture and social life, they saw that Joburg provides more life than Cape Town.

@ 18:50 the brother mentions the DRESS CODE...I am from Papua New Guinea, and the very first time I heard good things about South Africa (after years of hearing about apartheid ) was in 1996.I was the only black person sitting inside a pub full of white people in Townsville, Australia, when a white South African man and his wife, a South African Indian woman, both walked towards me with big smiles on their faces. They thought I was from Africa but when I told them I was from Papua New Guinea, they began telling me about the positive things in South Africa. They told me about how the houses, apartments, hotels etc in South Africa are more stylish than the ones in Australia..then the man said this about the dress code in South Africa. "If you see the way Black boys in South Africa dress up, you'd think they just came down from Heaven, they look fantastic when they dress, they are on a different level when it comes to dressing"..
I was told this back in 1996 and now it's been fully confirmed.
