This day was a great day as we had the chance to sit down with one of travelers and discuss their time here in South Africa. So much information was passed on and the message to those who have not been here is to get here. Coming from New York to Johannesburg was a very nice and soft landing onto Africa. Great interview and we was happy she was wanting to share to those in the Diaspora.

The real south Africa shows you the reality on the ground. Most video's about Africa are shot by people who come to Africa with intentions to show how Africa is backwards or poor they will never show you the best of Africa, I've traveled the world but its surprising the video's you watch on internet about a certain African country when you reach there you find that someone shot that video with intentions to downgrade that country, like now as we speak i came to blantyre malawi to check out something i knew i was going to a poor country and i watched video's on CZcams showing blantyre city and it was not looking good but when i arrived here 2 days ago man this small city was built really well very clean and everything is functioning like any other developed city and it's the same thing when i visited adis Ababa Ethiopia all other African countries, the video's on internet shot by foreigners who come from Europe with intentions of exposing the worst in Africa. In Africa people who never been to USA or Europe believes that everyone there is rich because of what is shown to us but if you happen to travel you will be surprised. We love you mark and your team ,myself i moved to SA 20years back and it was bothering me for years to see how south Africa is being portrayed outside, i love this country because of the opportunity it gave me .you have to travel to see for yourself

It will be better if South Africa can attract skilled AAs such as doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, accountants, IT specialist etc. to help rebuild South Africa. Sans are the only blacks who can connect better with the AAs due to our common history. We have embraced them long before it was fashionable to do so, only if they could know that. Their culture and our culture were our refuge to escape day to day hardships of apartheid brutality. Now it is AAs time to embrace us and our culture. Thanks Mark and your lovely wife for changing the narrative and slowly but surely diasporas will see Africa for what it is and not through the racist tinted lenses. Hope you also target the AA youth. This will also make them not to be ashamed to be called Africans when they come and witness black excellence in all its forms.

South africa has best universities which are recognized around the globe, I believe that our brothers in and sisters were denied an opportunity that they too can achieved a lot without depending on white Americans, especially by contributing in African countries, I'm sure Zimbabweans are very skilled but have runaway from Zimbabwean because of bad governance, we in SA, we fought apartheid inside the country and many of our friends didn't see the freedom we ha achieved, Many countries in Africa you Governments who don't respect their citizens, and for many South Africans they don't understand, why you allow a Presidents to be in power since 80 s to rule, look.whats happening in the African parliament in SA, Midrand french speaking countries they don't want to share the positions of the chair or Precidency for us SA citizens it gives us an impression of that , this is how they behave in their respective countries and for South Africans I'm sorry we won't keep quite , when we see something wrong happening in Africa, don't get me wrong I love Africans who contribute meaningful in their countries, I'm sorry SA will kick out their President,.when he behave like African statesman they must ask JG Zuma.

😹😹 I'm sorry there are too many South Africans, especially young black people who have degrees... all sorts of degrees from engineering to mathematics but they are still unemployed so how is that gonna work? Check your statistics, my cousin has a Bsc degree but isn't earning not 1 rand from it. I'm just asking like how?

June might be cold depending on which city you are visiting, Durban might be good fit for you as it is warm all year round.
Limpopo and Mpumalanga (Nice scenery) are also warm most of the year with a lot of wild and outdoor scenery, again depending where you are visiting.

I love all African countries and fellow brothers and sisters but our country (SA) is the most open minded and politically conscious in the continent-Even though as black (i.e. 80% of the population) are the majority, we also embrace the diversity that comes with our country...
South Africa can serve as a perfect transition for Black people coming from Europe and America-We're a first wold country in a 3rd world continent-Slowly but surely the continent is converting following in our footsteps (i.e. working hand in hand of course)...
KEEP DOING THE GOOD WORK, WE SEE YOU, WE APPRECIATE YOU...
I know you and your guests are far from home but please stop holding back, this is your home too-we see the bad things that happen to our people in USA and it hurts...
ALWAYS KNOW YOU HAVE A HOME HERE-WE LOVE YOU-COME BACK HOME...

@@r.medmond4165 I work for an international multinational South African telecommunications company and at the office our staff is 90% Black. My General manager so is my senior manager. Our whole team is black, my previous manager from a different department I worked in was black. The entire team was black and we had 1 white person in the team. And I'm talking about high paying jobs. It's a big corporate. I studied at University of Cape Town and all the black people I studied with work for big corporates in Sandton and in and around Joburg. So when they say the black people here are living it up you must know it's not a lie. And black people are buying shares too, it's about ownship now.
