Love these type of videos Kon! Do you think V90 SD Cards are good enough for the FX3 or have you played with the thought about getting CF express cards? Currently debating which path to go down 😅
I’ve only just pulled the trigger on the flash cards and I’ve got to say they are incredible but I have extreme anxiety about loosing them ahah.
Plus you have to have a reader for them as it’s not a very common slot unlike SD cards. But overall yes the transfer speeds are absolutely insane. I’d defiantly add one to your kit bag once you’ve made the necessary purchases that better your image first.

Bro I have a Question, With the SD Cards, once you offload all the footage to a harddrive do you delete the footage off the cards or keep them will the footage reaches the editor?
I always keep them for safety and back them up again once I get home. Only clear them once I have multiple back ups or once the project is out.

I stopped editing back in 2018 ish with the first roast video being my last. They now have a big team of editors and yes a ChipFat is one of many.
When you toss the boys the zv1's, do you just set them in auto so they have nothing to worry about?

From a flight attendant, please don't put air tags in checked in bags, its a lithium battery that can set fire and there is no way to put it out, only use them for carry on, as crew are trained to put it out if it were to catch fire.
I agree but losing luggage and them not knowing where it is is such a struggle

@@KonFilms The main pro would be for the vlogs- a wider focal length so instead of 24-70mm equivalent the mkii is a 16-50mm.

Kon - the best disposable batteries we've found for long battery life and good power have been amazon basics. worth checking out cause they sell packs of 300 at a time. We use the AAs and the 9v.

exactly what I was thinking. Imagine you nearly miss your flight, 'cus the security officer makes you take all of your tech out of your bag
Been fine so far tbh they are more concerned when tech or wires are scrambled together and it’s not clear on the X-ray what you have
I typically only takeout my laptop and rest is fine.

Anybody know the lapel wires brand?
I should of mentioned that I have two different ones. One comes with the Tascams mics and the 2nd one is a brand called Countryman model B-3. These are waterproof lapels and are super handy for when it comes to water based shoots.
The actual mic unit is placed in a waterproof sealed pouch but the lapel wire hangs out and can be submerged in water!

Hi Kon doubt you will see this as the vid is now a day or 2 old but, my step son is about to turn 13 and wants to start recording footage of him self biking and surfing do you have any affordable action camera reccomendations as dont want to spen 200+ on a go pro for him to use it a few times and give up
I would suggest looking into older models of the go pros possible a used on on eBay? Go pro 8 will be a great shout
