Tamron 28-75 F2.8 is my must have. Love that lens. I've since bought the 17-28 and the 70-180 and i couldn't be happier.

The 16-35 GM 2.8 is the must have for me, its the do it all lens. I typically run that and the 70-200 GM 2.8, with those two lens you can do anything, vlog, shoot a music video, take landscape photos, take portrait photos *which is why I have not upgraded to the A7SIII from my A7III, I don't want to carry two full frame cameras. Sure a prime could be better in certain situations *I do also carry the cheap 50 1.8, but carrying around more than 5k in lens for me is getting to heavy and also seems a bit risky incase your bag gets lost or stolen lol....I also carry a B cam which is an A6500 with 10-18 F4 and Sigma 16mm 1.4. Additionally I have a Sony AX53, mainly for the night shot, but rarely use it. I also have various ND/CP filters from freewill and other companies, I mainly have 82mm with adapters. For my drone I carry the DJI Macic 2 Pro. For gimbals I run the DJI Ronin S, I can't justify upgrading as this one still does everything I need, and also run the DJI Osmo Mobile 3. Additionally I run 2 DJI Pocket 2's, those little cameras are super flexible with honestly really great footage coming from such a small sensor. I have 3 GO Pros that I also carry, but never use. I guess my argument about carrying to much expensive gear isn't really valid, if you add up everything in my camera bag, its around $14,000 US. So yeah, there's that....and all of that is just for armature use mainly. I do shoot some music videos, and a few documentaries, but I mainly shoot for my CZcams channel and use my iPhone 12 pro max and DJI Pocket. So one could argue I have all this gear just to play with.

My go to lens, that always is in my bag is the Canon ef 24-105 is L Mark I. It is just so versatile. Great video yet again Peter, Keep up the good work.

A lens I love and recently got is definitely my Sigma 16MM f1.4!! Pictures are so sharp and on my aps c sensor it makes it pretty much approximately 24mm so I know what you mean about the 24mm . Crispy pictures at any time of day.

Great video, Peter😊 Thanks for sharing. In my bag there’s a Canon EOS mark iv, a 24 - 70 mm f 2,8 and a 70 - 200 mm 2,8 both L series, a portable flash, and a lightmeter. I’m mostly into the photography side of things, and have recently begun to dabble with video. Most of the time I do corporate headshots, event photography, weddings, birthdays, etc. Your channel is much appreciated and very educational.

Sigma 24-70 is the must have lens in my kit. Although the Sony 20mm 1.8 G might be my favorite. The 24-70 is just so versatile.

Lol 😂 great video as always! The lens that I just cannot live without right now is the Tamron 17-28mm.... One day when I buy the 24 mm G master that will be the lens I’ve used it a number of times at Sony events hands-down my favorite lens.
As a Swedish American dude, I love hearing Swedish, reminds me of my childhood :) I don't speak it, only remember my grandma speaking it to me.

I have the 24 mm Sony G-master with me at all time.It’s awesome.
The lens I have with me all the time is the Canon RF 15-35mm. It's great for video and I can switch to 35mm for portraits too

Regarding your question, i recently got myself an used EF 16-35 F4 for a very good price and really dig the look and versatility of this wide angle lens. Now I understand, why almost all video CZcamsrs have such a lens in their kit.
RF24-70 is the most versatile for me and I don't leave without it, 70-200 would be the second. I like tighter shots and being able to punch through obstacles when necessary. 70-200 replaces my EF100mm macro in a pinch as well.
It impressed me.
You should try the PGYTech Onemo Backpack, it's very nice and I highly recommend it. It's been my go-to to fit all of my camera gear.
I have the same camera bag, love it. Carrying the Sony a7iii and a7Riii.
Great video, Peter! I always have the Sony 85/1.8 in my bag. Or rather on one of my bodies. Man, that lens is just awesome! I´ve made sooo much money with that lens! On the other body I will have a Sigma 35/1.4. That combo is just great!

Hey Peter! I'm trying to decide between 16-35 (which in APS-C mode gets me to 52.5mm, losing megapixels of course) or 24-70mm (also get more with APS-C mode, but really 70mm and 105mm don't really make too much of a difference to me) for travel. Any advice is much appreciated! 🥸
Hey I always use my only lens with my Alpha 7 iii, the Tamron 28-200mm f2.8/5.6. I'm pretty happy with it 😊

My allways on Kamera is the 35mm 1.8 and i Love it...
I shoot on the bmpcc4k with a metabones attached. My faved lenses are the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 and the Canon 50mm 1.8...
Actually, they are my only lenses😁
Nikon 24-120mm f/4 VR is incredible for me -- the range makes me feel like I don't need any other lens for 99% of shoots and being stabilized helps for video a lot. Other than that an 85/1.8 and I'm good to go, don't need anything more than that tbh
I personally never leave with the 35mm, for what I shoot it can do everything!
My Favorite Lense is the Tamron 28-75 F2.8
But newest One is an older Sigma EX DG 17-35 F2.8-4
AND this is a great Option for small Budget too
Bought it with a Commlite EF Nex Adapter for just 200€
And it is really good for that small price

Your camera bag weighs 3 times as much as mine, but I need light equipment when mountain biking. Wish I had that 400 mm lens though!
I just love my Sony GM 24-70mm 2.8 for daily use and the Sigma 14mm DG HSM 1.8 for Astrophotography, on my A7III :-) - wouldn´t leave the House without it !!
Great video, nice to see what other people carry in the bag. Question on the Sigma 100-400mm lens. I'm thinking of buying that one but I heard that with used with the Sony A7siii the Image stabilization in side the camera gets turned off because the camera only wants to use the stabilization from the lens. Can you confirm that? Thanks

Thank Peter. Re favourite lense... literally today I bought 24-105 f/4 and paired it with my sony a7siii, turned on active stabilization, and now I do not need any gimbal, so if you want to buy old scratched electronic gimbal please give me a shout lol :)
We just call those lens cloths, used for cleaning/wiping any small glass be it cell phone screens, glasses, lenses, etc.

My Sony 35mm 1.8 is incredibly small and magical, i can shoot during day, night, weekend, family weekends, xmas, photo, video, interviews and it is tiny!

the lens I cannot leave out (pretty much stays on my A7III though) is the Sony 24-70 2.8 GM that lens is just 👌 but I do love the 35mm & 85mm 1.8 primes
