The passion that leaks from you both is inspiring .. the decline of BFC is something all fans can appreciate to lesser extents, but I certainly understand the feelings, I've paused it 3/4 the way through, Jane's understandably smashed a few F bombs, all in the name of passion, that falling feeling, you're hurtling down the mountainside and there's no stopping it, nothing to hold on to the decline is inevitable, when you love and care for something as much as you guys do it's soul destroying, I've always had a soft spot for Blackpool, the closest we've come in very recent times is Steve Bruce, the same tat game in, game out, nothing gets better you keep plugging away as fans, those owners, players and managers will go, looking for better after sucking the club dry, but you guys, us guys won't be going anywhere, and I know it hurts, and I pray to the football gods that the ownership of West Brom gets sorted coz that black cloud Jane speaks of, isnt too far off settling over The Hawthorns - I really hope to bump into you both next week when I'm at Bloomfield with West Brom - I'd definitely share a beer with you ⚽❤️⚽

Love the passion you guys have for your club. I hope things get better for your club sooner rather than later and, you never know, miracles do happen in football, and maybe you can escape the drop this year and next season will be a good one. My club, Nottingham Forest, were in Lwague 1 not so long ago and, although this season is a struggle (not helped by being hammered by a certain seaside team 😉) we are proof of how quickly things can change. I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞❤

Thanks Daz yes quite correct they are so lacking in confidence and do fall apart quite easily and that has become a real problem under MM he has kind of destroyed the players It is an unenviable task to turn that around now IMHO
Its the same following Blackburn ,,the team play well against big prem sides in cups and teams at top of championship but when we play struggling teams we don't turn up

As a Birmingham fan, it's sad to see the atmosphere at Bloomfield Road (doesn't feel too long ago that you smashed us 6-1 lol).
We were predicted for the drop this season but John Eustace has worked wonders with the small squad we have. Hopefully you guys can get a good manager also and rebuild this summer :)

I can feel the frustration you and Jane have Lee, I feel the same tbh. The team worked so hard last season to get promoted into the championship and after all the losses we have had this season it's very heartbreaking to see that we may not survive the drop back into league 1 at the end of the season. I agree with everything you both have said and things need to change at the club that is all down to management in getting good players in for next season so that we don't have to rely on loan players because management don't seem to want to invest in recruiting them and retaining them if they are good players under a good manager and backroom staff and training team. We just have to hope that things will change next season and we can get back up again. I know that we still have 6 games left but at the moment with the performance we have had I think it will be hard to survive now but we must continue as anything can happen in football. It was 2 seasons ago Ednam but I know what you mean all that hard work and all the fantastic football last season in the Championship, sure it all fell apart over the last fews games but to be safe with weeks to spare it was joyful a complete and utter contrast to this season. However the feeling we were getting during pre-season that this could be a disaster season and things were not looking good was pretty much spot on. Such a shame I hope they learn from this whatever division we are in.
I think it will be a bloody miracle if Dobbie saves us but I have to hope the weight that is so obviously on the players backs lifts and the joy and life that has been sucked out of them by MM is boosted back up by the fact he has left🙏🏻
Blades Fan. Great watch, really felt the passion. Well spoken, supporters have a voice that needs to be heard and all clubs need to invite true and passionate fans like yourselves into the boardroom ( or wherever ) and to sit down and listen. There's still a chance that Blackpool can survive the drop, but it is looking increasingly unlikely given the amount of fixtures left to play till the end of the season.
Hope things turn around soon and if you are to be relegated to League One it's not the end of the World ( although it will feel like it ) and you can return back stronger and be a force to be reckoned with upon returning. All the best for the rest of this season and the next. ⚔️
Thanks Michael to be fair they have recently had a meeting with select people from the various supporters groups we have and they do listen. They do watch our videos so hopefully what we were saying gets through a little bit. Enjoy the Premier next year (is that actually a thing? enjoying it? I'm not sure, all I know is you get there and then basically get b*tt shafted the whole season til they relegate you back down but you at least get some decent money for someone to throw away for a while - yep I am becoming that cynical 😕)
@@LeeCharlesTV Hope that they do listen and make the right forward decisions to get YOUR club back to winning ways, and the fans can start enjoying going to the match again. IF Blackpool are relegated the right forward thinking, planning, and appointing the right manager then the Seasiders ( Tangerines ) are more than capable of returning back to the Championship at the first time of asking and be much stronger for it.
As for the Blades, they still have work to do yet to get promoted back to the Premiere League, but fingers crossed 🤞 I definitely hear and agree with what you say about the Premier League. Going to the match should be enjoyable and not stressful the enjoyment is everything on match day. Anyways all the best enjoy Easter the both of you. The sun ☀️ will shine again in Blackpool and the wins will come.

The CEO and board are useless. Critchley was an exception to the rule as managerial appointments since have been a farce. Mansford bringing his mate Appleton to the club was a disaster as we all knew it would be. Mansford doing what's best for his mate and not what's best for BFC. He's got to go. Good video Lee. It’s a real shame what’s happened to you this season. Last season you should have at least got a draw against us (Bournemouth) at Bloomfield Road, you did excellent to come back at our stadium as well. From the outside looking in, I felt like both of your managerial appointments were disasters, as soon as you lost Critchley I was a bit worried for you to be honest. It felt like you had some good togetherness there and were going in the right direction until he left. Best of luck for the rest of the season and if you don’t stay up, hopefully you can bounce back soon!

We have been loyal wcc for many years and we aren't going anywhere that is a given but we are neither winning nor giving it our best so it is pretty tough to watch at the moment. When your team are winning the weekends are happier, the sun shines brighter there is a lightness to life but when your team are in this kind of rut it is the polar opposite. I know the girls were parading a cup but I didn't just mean winning silverware more just actually winning football matches in general

Can fully understand your disappointment at recent results but as a Lincoln City supporter I would dearly loved to have spent two years in the championship if we had won the play off final. There is a saying that getting there is better than being there so next season I fully expect Blackpool to be among the front runners which in turn will bring back fond memories to you both from two seasons past. At least Jane you can have another weekend trying out the pubs in Lincoln
The thing I've found is losing doesn't feel any better than it did in a lower division but winning feels quite a bit better. When you eventually get promoted and if you are getting beat 3-1 at home in a must win game you definitely will not be thinking to yourself 'ah well at least we're not losing this in League 1 it's so much better losing up here'
Heart is breaking for Blackpool F.C.! Better days ahead but have to get big changes like Jane's said. Recruiting has to improve, a big one for me. And Lee's got it right: football is about winning! Because sports are a results-based business. UTMP

Feel your pain with Mccarthy at the helm. We had him at Cardiff last season. He had the idea of playing 5 centre backs every game.
Yep he was a total disaster, didn't get our players, didn't play to our strengths, tried to force players to play in a way that didn't suit them it was all like a bad dream 😕

You do realise that we never saw one penny of that play off money don't you? that our owners took every penny and that we went on a 5 year boycott of our club and that between then and now you have have had far more success than we have and you got up into the Premier League anyway, heck you even have a completed stadium we are still waiting.

yes of course we remember Wembley but you have had a lot more success than we have had since that date. Wembley and the Premier League was pretty much pointless we never saw a penny invested back into any kind of legacy (you may have noticed that you were still stood in the temporary stand the Oystons had to build because we got up)
We have also had a 5 year fan boycott where we all missed going and for many not taking our children along (my 2 boys were 8 and 13 at the time) so I missed all those years taking them and I can never get those years back 😕
MM has been a disaster
Agree with most of what’s said but for Jane to say ‘everyone is against us’ is complete rubbish. You’ve been the masters of your own downfall and the people at the top only have themselves to blame. The league have deducted points from the teams around you and you still can’t get out of it so it’s no good blaming anyone but yourselves.
6 points doesn't come anywhere near the points that ridiculous red cards and bad decisions in the BIG moments have cost us throughout this season. Actually there is only 1 club around us that has been deducted points, Reading have now been but they were nowhere near us and I'm sorry but you have to have lived it to understand. We were good and good enough but now whatever charity is been dished out is after the horse is bolted we are shit and deserve to go down

As a Cov fan been there seen it felt it, but your fans leaving at half time wont help, they need to get behind the team as they lack confidence, Blackpool are not that bad a team, just like Hudders are not, with the right manager anything is possible, Mccarthy was not the right choice, someone like Warnock was, hope you survive, best of luck, enjoy your vlogs. We always stay to the bitter end as you can see but sometimes as fans you have to do something to make a change and losing half a stadium before half time was a HUGE MESSAGE and look what happened? MM has left so IMHO it did help

Howson signed again, Smith signed again, Hackney signs, Akpom re-energised, breaking club records, winning monthly awards by given more involvement in the game by Carrick realising it may suit him better toplay behind a striker. Carrick manager of the month. Archer came on loan, Ramsey came on loan and Giles came prior to them. Barlaser has signed he is a wonderful playmaker, even if we do not get promoted no one can accuse the club and the management of believing we are not good enough. Gibson has built the foundations kept on investing and involving the area keeping everyone onside. The club want to promote the area and I believe they do our fans are proud to be supporters, like yours they are good people on the whole.
I would hate to see Pool go down you need someone that believes but you all have to buy in so those there currently, have failed, not the players or the fans and ought to make way for someone that can use the potential of Blackpool as a community that includes the council, the leaders in the industries all around the area to buy into revitalising the area starting with the club. That is how Gibson began to save our club from extinction. We are who we are because of this and Gibsons love of the area and the club, you need this all to happen you do not need a hedge fund or asset stripper there has to be a desire to succeed driving the vision forward.
I still believe that Simon Sadler will come good but his choices of people brought in to help him are wrong.

yes it does doesn't it but one thing I have learned over the years is when you think it's great it can all fall apart and the bad days don't always carry on. If Simon Sadler continues to not invest in strengthening the squad and continues to allow people who have not been successful at running a football club continue to run it for him then we are only heading in one direction ⬇️

We are not a MASSIVE club but we were once. We are a town with a population of around 140K with a sea on one side but we have a potential for more than 11K home fans if and when we are successful

Yep total nightmare I actually think Appleton would have got 1 or 2 more wins and kept us up. Its a tough league to get out of but football is always better when you're pushing for a top six spot no matter what division you're in. But it would be great to get back up the Championship is my favourite league 🙂
