Great to see Blackpool on match day. As a kid I attended a school for disabled kids near Motherwell, in Scotland. John McPhee transferred to Blackpool from Motherwell FC, in the 60's and invited kids from my residential school to Blackpool every March, for at least 10 years. Highlight was always a Blackpool FC home game

John “ Chopper” McPhee. Legendary Blackpool player in the 60’s alongside Jimmy Armfield and Alan Ball. His nickname was Chopper as he was a very tough tackler of the opposing players😀. I met him once and got his autograph. Very nice man who ran a successful hotel in Blackpool for many years. Sadly he passed away a few years ago.

@@heinzer69 A true gent of the game. I'm a little surprised to hear that he passed in Walsall, most of his Clubs having been in the north. He was small part of my younger life, but, a huge influence in my adult life.

I actually... Finally made it to Blackpool last thursday. Inspired by your videos, and got to meet up with family who still live there. Had a wonderful (if somewhat painful due to my disability) day. Got to see a very nice sunset, and the illuminations. So, thank you for inspiring me to return after over 8 years.
I did not take any cameras, didn't feel like lugging my D750 or my D5600 around, but I did capture a gorgeous picture of the tower all lit up with my cellphone, while waiting for the coach back home. The lens fogged up, and made it all smearly, which actually, in my opinion, made it an interesting picture.

      Your not wrong
, but it's the people in van that would get hauled off by police, the "person" in silver Corsa was a sore looser & ignorant. They could have given the Preston fans a bit of pride to take home.

There was 15,000 at the match it holds more but due to police only allowing 2,000 prescum fans ,and a big clear area between both sets of fans ,to be honest it's shite management by police when ground can hold 17,600.

Are you sure there was 15,000 there? Announced as much less towards the end of the game.
