If you are a Blackpool fan? this was as painful a defeat as I have witnessed in a long time and will be a painful watch. If you are a Boro fan? well...you are going to ENJOY IT.
Football is a very cruel mistress at times and Blackpool fans are feeling the cruelty as they go through their usual annual Christmas hell. Did we play well enough to win? YES did we deserve to lose? NO were Middlesborough the best side on the night? NO do I sometimes hate football? YES
A BIG thank you for everyone that helped organise the Christmas dinner for the homeless at the Armfield Club, also to Blackpool FC and to all the Blackpool fans that chucked money into the collection bins we should all be very proud of what a wonderful set of fans and what a great football club that we are.
Congrats to Middlesbrough hope you all got home safely.

One of the things I enjoyed was that Boro came to play football, no silly time wasting, going down every 5 minutes, bringing physios and doctors on and all that crap. Just a proper football match with tons of drama just wish for my video and my mental health we had have gotten the winner As it is I'm still suffering today

A few years ago I had detached myself from football to deal mentally with the stress of not watching Blackpool or taking my boys it was quite horrible

Boro fan here thanks for this, very well put together and appreciate it is out so soon after the game. We have gifted teams wins and lost games we should have won, so it is doubly pleasing when we manage to win it after nearly giving it away. Looking at the highlightes and those shown on our club site Blackpool certainly had the chances to get something from this game.
Soft spot for Blackpool since your time in the Premiership and like many i hoped you stayed up that year.
Your right about the falling down and time wasting we see at our ground from teams starting in the first half, Wolves the year they were promoted were the worst I have seen for that and stops me wanting to see them do well other than our ex player there.

Yes Guy you play football the right way and any team that plays that way has my respect I literally can't stand the anti football teams and their tactics. I didn't really feel like putting it together but my passion is making movies and I just have to focus on telling the story the best way I can. We never win over Christmas so it's nothing new. We deserved at least a point but we all know football doesn't always work out that way. We move on to the next game but we need to start winning or the bookies are going to be proved right

Another Boro fan here and another to say well done on a cracking video - one of the best quality matchday vlogs I have seen. Admittedly, I wouldnt be here if last nights match didn't turn out as it did, but I have now subscribed to your channel. It is a pleasure to watch knowlegable and gracious football fans talk about their team so I will continue watching. It wasn't Blackpool at its best but yes it is always a good atmosphere. A better night for your fans than ours but hey we have this Christmas curse that comes round every year so it's less painful the years and years of it have hardened us to it

Great vid, we're beginning to get used to the Wilder way of playing but it's coming! Put so much into the Forest game , left us a bit of the pace at times but dug in well. Since we started becoming 'Football Vloggers' we have gotten to know (and make friends) with so many fans of other clubs that it opened our eyes to see that we are all just basically kindred souls and not mortal enemies, we are all so similar that we all kind of go through the same stuff suffering blows and crushing defeats, little bits of success now and then but we all love the beautiful game just as much, the days in the sun come along every now and then and the dark days make you appreciate them. Football never ends it just comes round again every year and we all dream of great things but know deep down we are going to go through some tough games, bad referees, disappointing cup exits etc but we dream every summer that this season will be the best yet its in our blood and we learn to take the knocks and keep going

So we just sacked him 🫠
But Boro is in the mud now, and relegation is a real threat to us, if we don’t pick up form under Leo and who ever comes next.
Worst team in the league, just hope Blackpool away when it comes it’s atleast some what enjoyable.

this was a great watch as a boro fan, but not because of the result alone, excellent video guys great work putting it together. credit to your team to., really game are pools taking it to us with no fear. you have a cracking manager to playing great football. when you beat us at the riverside i was so jealous because we had warnocks anti football. but its all good now wilder plays the ball on the floor as you do. which made this such an entertaining game for us all.
Yep you played proper football, no stupid time wasting, no players going down every 5 minutes with physios and club doctors crawling on the pitch to examine every injured player. It was a great game of football chances at both ends just a really tough finish for us as I'm sure you can imagine

Fair play to you, this channel seems a labour of love. You played well, just done by an international striker finish and a bit of sloppy defending. You'll be midtable this year and a couple of good signings could see you in the play offs next season.

Couldn't let you do the treble over us! I said when I first subscribed to your channel after you beat us at the Riverside that hopefully Warnock would be gone by the time we played you again, I and the majority of Boro fans got our wish and we've been a totally different team under Wilder.
The players looked slightly tired after the Forest game but again, Blackpool know how to play against us as it was anything but easy!

I would argue that your winner was a total gift I'm not quite sure what you are watching? A simple clearance upfield rather than a stupid dangerous crossfield pass was all that was needed and it was a draw, We hit the inside of the post and wasted numerous others, a shout for a penalty as well. What I like about your videos is both the honesty and good grace, keep up the good work. I think two out of three places for relegation are already decided, Derby and Barnsley, looking at the statistics, the next most likely are Peterborough, score the least, concede the most. It's a good sign Jermaine being not at your best and winning unfortunately we are giving it everything and losing which is not a very good sign and becoming more of a worry as the games slip by
The difference:
Under Warnock in September: Blackpool equalise in 62nd minute and a Grant Hall own goal in 78th minute gives them the win, and we can’t find a way back into the game.
Under Wilder: Blackpool equalise in the 91st minute, but this time we score the winner in the 93rd minute. In a month, Wilder has made a team that wins and it’s so good to be a Boro fan right now. And now we’ve got January to find a consistent goal scorer, and a reliable goalkeeper. UTB💪🔴

From the game v Borough, to the game v Boro… how to get such polarising emotions at the final whistle. I can’t believe our luck this season, but the refs have been so so soooo bad it makes me just shake my head in disbelief.
That being said, some stupid decisions in the last 2 games. Wtf was Gabriel doing? Wtf was Hubby doing passing to Demi? Wtf was Demi doing in backing out of a challenge when he should’ve gone through him with the ball.
We are desperate for better players. Most of the pitch we are more than average, but some areas we are lacking. 4 left backs and umpteen central midfielders yet can you name more than one Lee, that should be on the team sheet each game?
All I can think of is Dougall, but even he’s been inconsistent although I think that’s mostly due to the stop start, half way round the world and back without playing situation he’s had with Australia.
Our left side is letting us down, and so is our central mid.
I’ll say it again - ZERO goals from centre mid in over half a season. Never ever seen that before from us.
I’m sure we will be ok, but we need to make sure. In 10/11 we thought we’d be ok, and look what happened. Also that season, we had shocking officiating. 🍊
Trouble is Bram we were looking an attractive move a month or so ago but no quite so attractive at the moment. Not many players are keen on coming to a relegation dogfight so we need to start putting some points on the board and very quickly. We need a midfield general who can drive us forward and find a killer pass, another BIG Striker is priority number 2 and an improvement at left back as the goals keep coming in from that side. But can we get them in?
