my guess is that the entire thing was timecoded and they just were slightly out, or the lighting op was off the ball that night, but the feedback was killing me, the tech on this number really bugged me!!!

Ava Valdez recently my school got new lights boards to wear you could program it to do that or you could put it on the direct line so you could just press the buttons when they needed to be pressed
I've done lighting like this before and sure it would be stressful but they did a pretty awesome job.
I am also a lighting person for my schools drama club and a few concerts
Actually its the stage manager who has to call the shots and the lighting person should just follow his/her instructions. And also, its not actually that difficult since they're almost all musical queues so as long as you're familiar with the score, it should be a breeze.
Jeremy was doing a pretty good job being a complete psychopath. Doesn't mean he still isn't the most adorable person on the entire set, though.
Tbh he's had practice being a psychopath in Death Note Musical, he played Light Yagami (a mass murderer dubbed Kira)
