This Gaston has both a male and female love interest, thus he is either bi or pan. so while the comedic effect comes from the to actors playing males dancing around each other with thinly veiled innuendoes, Gaston's sexuality is just a cool side effect of the actor's portrayal of the character.
Gaston eats 5 dozen eggs everyday. 5 x 12 = 60, so 60 eggs per day. 60 x 365 is 21,900 eggs, which means Gaston eats that many in one year. Honestly, it's such a smooth transition, I was so happy when I heard it because I was hoping he'd do the octave jump.
