- Another crazy KO from this past weekend’s card! Lopes vs Yusuff was a ball of chaos for as long as it lasted, and showed the importance of knowing what to do in the clinch-especially in MMA.

I’m assuming bro is absolutely cooking up the Holloway vs Gaethje breakdown, hence the reason he’s taking so long to post it😂
He still in shock 😂

Might not want to because gajthe is there boy and they trained together
@@charliebrown3052 True but aside from the ko Max put on the best, most technically sound, fastest, and just straight up best performance of his career, how can he not break that down
Whether you're a fighter, hobbyist, analyst, or even just a pure fan, Cory's content is a godsend. Quality stuff always, even the book reviews
Elias really lookin like Curtis Blaydes in this one
Collar tie uppercuts are an amazing counter and deterant against body punches too since they require your opponent to duck down/change levels to throw efficiently, and uppercuts have a lot more leverage when the target is lower
DC did a number on Stipe with a similar technique when he took the belt. It was awesome when the rematch happened and seeing how Stipe assessed it
Subbed.
man you'd make a kickass coach
Am I crazy for seeing similarities between Diego vs Yusuf and Connor vs Brimage.
yeah you are lol. The only similarities are its at 145 and was a first rd ko
i like the longer hair look sandman
What a strange thing to say...
@@TheeFitnessEnthusiast You must not get compliments often..
@@TheeFitnessEnthusiast I knew someone was gonna say that or "gayyy" lol
I was watching some old Jack Dempsey footage yesterday and he used what looked to me like double inside ties in the clinch. I'm wondering if you'd transition to double inside ties if the uppercut didn't land / work so well? Jack used it on a much taller heaver opponent and pushed his head into his chest. I imagine that made it very difficult for the bigger guy to pressure forwards and Jack could feel where his opponent's head was without looking....... obviously he didn't have to worry about knees so I don't know if it would work the same way in MMA!

Cory, could you in these videoes also show how to practice this by yourself? Like how would you drill this being solo on a heavybag for example?
