Nice one Ryan especially don't forget the hose!
Thank you for making this video. I’ve been stressing over having to do this for months. I finally decided to try and do it tomorrow and did one last search on CZcams. I was so surprised to see that you posted this yesterday. How timely this is. Great job, Ryan! Now I feel confident to be able to do this! Thanks, Joe
This is brilliant. You've done great job. More people with this engine should see your video.
I have the same engine changed oil went for a spin oil leaking in river back looked at engine found O. H. V. Had rusted hole in it thanks it was not worse, great info, Thankks
Thanks Ryan, just followed your excellent and clear instructions and cleaned my carb, which now works. So from a sailing yacht anchored in Montenegro with a working outboard, my gratitude!
You didn’t clean the emulsion tube tube above the jet
Great video. Cleaned the Carb today and it ran well. Thanks for the clear simple video.
Done, and runs great!!
This kids a celebrity
Excellent video. Thanks!
Easy to follow, well presented.
Thank you. This helped a lot! Someone gave me one of these because they couldn't get it running. It took less than an hour to clean the carb and tank (both had water in them). Put it back together and it cranked right up and ran great!
Nice video Ryan. Thanks. FYI from the geko, my engine never ran unless the choke was 50% out. It's a 2013 and seen some miles albeit very slow. These don't have any adjustments so I would think the jet was bad from the beginning. I'm also going to change the diaphragm if it has one. Looking at your video it seems this carb does. Thanks again for the info.
It's easier to lift the choke rod off at the choke switch before removing it from the carby.
Nice job Ryan. Two questions: Isn't there a tube above the main jet that can come out. Also, I found two paper gaskets between the carb and the plastic housings. How are they held in place when putting everything together?
Put a little grease on the gaskets to hold them in place.
why bother with the water bucket ?
Because the exhaust vents are made of plastic which could overheat and melt remember this is an air-cooled engine
