I have the same engine changed oil went for a spin oil leaking in river back looked at engine found O. H. V. Had rusted hole in it thanks it was not worse, great info, Thankks
Nice video Ryan. Thanks. FYI from the geko, my engine never ran unless the choke was 50% out. It's a 2013 and seen some miles albeit very slow. These don't have any adjustments so I would think the jet was bad from the beginning. I'm also going to change the diaphragm if it has one. Looking at your video it seems this carb does. Thanks again for the info.

It's easier to lift the choke rod off at the choke switch before removing it from the carby.
Thank you. This helped a lot! Someone gave me one of these because they couldn't get it running. It took less than an hour to clean the carb and tank (both had water in them). Put it back together and it cranked right up and ran great!
why bother with the water bucket ?
Because the exhaust vents are made of plastic which could overheat and melt remember this is an air-cooled engine

Nice job Ryan. Two questions: Isn't there a tube above the main jet that can come out. Also, I found two paper gaskets between the carb and the plastic housings. How are they held in place when putting everything together?
Put a little grease on the gaskets to hold them in place.
