    You make it look easy, bottom half out, how the blazes do you actually get into the boot lock, the 2 corners of the trim are locked in place due to the lid in the shut position? ...🤔

    • @Martysworkshop
      @Martysworkshop  Před rokem +1

      The clips can be real tight so once the screws are out it will come off

      @@Martysworkshop got it mate, thanks for quick reply, now for the next niggle central locking works via the keyfob ... all bar the drivers door, ? 🤔

      There shuld ne a electrical actuator that engages the lock mech, also another common fault is the wiring that flexes between the door chassis, pull the boot back and see if there is any broken wires, hope this helps

      Did you take the 2 screws out? If you did they can be quite tight

    • @brianwilliams514
      @brianwilliams514 Před 3 lety +1

      Try loosening the top first, there are clips all along the window that hold it tight. I had to go in from the top.

      @@brianwilliams514 I've been trying this for a while, top clips are easy to get off but then it's difficult to loosen anything else from there. Don't want to yank too hard for fear of breaking entirely. Either I'm incredibly weak or every other video-maker covering this is very strong lol
