Looks pretty stable. I get mine today. Also swapping out my Veles servo to see if a higher KG makes it run flatter in the turns and flip less

What had you done at this point as far as adjustments? In stock form this looks like a plenty fast machine for my needs.... hoping to pick up a Blackjack 24 this weekend if the world cooperates...for a first FE boat, and then to make a retrieval thing in the future...

what were the minor adjustments? Mine is prop hopping and chine walking like crazy!
I lowered the trim tabs about 1mm and have the stinger on same plane (square) as the bottom of the boat.

Hello. Putting new props in my zelos 36. Also just bought the adapters to run 4 3s batteries. Do you have a recommendation as far as the specs of the 3s batteries. Mah and c rating? Thanks
Nice.. I use 5-6,000mAh 65c or higher from a well known brand like Revolectrix, Turnigy or Gens Ace/Tattu. Turnighy HD 5000mah 3s (blue packs) do well and are pretty cheap on hobby king site.

where are your trimtabs set. My boat is "porpoising" at high speeds. I tried battery forward and back and strut down a few degrees. that didn't do anything so trim tabs last.. Just wondering what yours were set to...

yes. 100% all stock everything, including the Raw untouched stock prop.
Looked "great" on 4S...looks "fantastic" on 6S. What's the "continuous running" high ESC & motor temps?
Thanks! Highest temps I've seen on stock raw prop was 130°f motor 120°f esc
@@MrMad2424 Ouch...a bit high, but not a "killer". Maybe a sharpened/balanced prop of the same pitch/diameter will help lower those 6S temps? Or, maybe, a slightly smaller (by, say, 1-2mm) diameter prop? You're thoughts or either, or both, of these ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Stock prop is fine. S&B it would lower temps but keep in mind I said the highest I seen was 130° and 120° that was in kind of a wet setup when I was first feeling the boat out. However with it trimmed out properly temps are cooler than that. when stuff gets in the 140° range that's when I get concerned.

@@brettrzucidlo1105 it is a great boat. So is the Impulse 32. Gotta ask yourself if you want to turn turns or if you want to fly down the straights over a 100 with a prop change. Cats and Vees are two totally different boats.
@@MrMad2424 I like both. Impulse is just smaller and I like bigger boats because to me they just handle water better especially when it’s not perfect glass. How is the sonicwave?
