Excellent follow-up video, and looking forward to next. where I live wind driven rain is a seasonal problem so we do see water migration under these eaves, which conventional construction does not protect against. You have so many good plans to build. protecting buildings from long term water damage makes the investment last.

When I come across this I typically do just like this but I use step flashing behind the facia just like you would on a wall. When I get the the bottom of the valley I run metal flashing over the shingle and then run ice and water up the valley.

I have a question, sometimes there is an area same as this one that is not completely accessible to do step flashing all around the wall, so how to do that if we do not want to remove the sheet of OSB.
Another question should we put the metal wall flashing at the end of the this vomplex area, where roof meets soffit?

As a roofer. That's a part of the roof that will never see water. You can actually get away with just shingle it and no flashing

The no flashing might work, but I don't think I would do it.

Yes, metal valleys don't require overlapping shingles.
