Guys, it's just normal for a phone (regardless of what range it's at) to 'lag' at the start of its system/UI update. It would naturally take a while for a device to adapt to its new changes, so please have a bit of patience :))
Its normal for a phone to lag after an update because the system is adjusting especially when there is a UI changes. It happened to me from Samsung Experience to OneUI 1
Damn, it looked like an old 3gb ram phone powered by a helio g25 and Xiaomi has the nerve to sell it's garbage at a not so budget friendly price, so much for redmi budget friendly phones. Seeing how Xiaomi has become just made me regret that Huawei no longer has Google apps, and sure enough, EMUI wasn't that clunky at all. I still own a Huawei p20 pro and despite running an old android 10, this phone is a breeze to use, no lag. With every version of MIUI, things are getting worse. I've tried Magic OS and even on a Helio G36, Magic OS doesn't even lag like that
Dude when we update our software it takes some time to optimize and settle down through out the ui After 2 to 3 days it works absolutely fine Its same has been happened on my samsung phone after one ui 6.0 update

True. I got hyper os update on jan 26 and phone was slow..now it is as usual on its clock speed
Mine is still slow after a month.

after i update to HyperOS i hard reset my device to avoid any conflict, HyperOS for me is smoother than MIUI

Yeah after update it works shitty, very laggy and battery leak much faster (from 50h to 35h) 😮
