@@angelanam793 Yeah, I just noticed that how groups from big companies get so much more compared to groups from small companies. BTS didn't get their first show win until they released "I Need U" which was the starting point of their success. Twice got their first show win with "Cheer Up" in 2016 which was the year after they debuted. Blackpink got their first win right after debut. No wonder why idols from small companies cry when they get their first win because it's literally their only way to get into the K-pop mainstream.

I don't want to be that person but thats why I really admire BTS, those of us who have followed kpop from early days know how rigged the Korean music shows used to be and how the Big 3 always dominated there with their money and influence but BTS being from a small, bankrupt company broke that cycle and gave hope to other idols from small companies that anything is possible💜

Its not an opinion because i didnt even mention the 36$. Regarding that however, there should be a set price that isnt lowered or raised based on group popularity. Thats the unfair part considering everyone pays the same entry fee. $300 should be the set pay for appearing. Again, The staff who work at the stations are employees who are paid a salary daily. idols companies are responsible for the bulk of the idols pay. Most are in debt to them. The issues lay with the company. Modhaus for example were able to pay tripleS members in only 2 years because they sell photocard objeckts and the cosmo app to vote for things. it has been super profitable and the 24 members dont have debt now and make a salary. others dont see profit for atleast 5 years. fromis 9 for example.

Those channels like MBC, SBS etc needs to be seriously regulated...the audience pay to go there...that should fund the whole thing, that is how its normally done, the idols should not have to pay too, just creates more money in the channels pockets. I didn't even think they were getting paid to be honest. The broadcast shows are promoting them very well. These shows are how you get to see idols perform at events outside of award shows that happen once a year. I have a genuine question why did people think idols were getting paid at all or a lot of money? Agencies have to pay for promotions, music shows are promotions the same way concept photos, pre-release singles, festivals, and tours are promotions. All of these activities cost money but if you put high quality work forward eventually the effort will pay off in forms of the group getting attention/reaching a bigger audience.

hahaha, i am backreading the comments and found it funny , that some fans just found out about this, i don't know why, but its kind a simple why music shows are expensive
first expense = Tax , broadcast station pays tax to the South Korean government, the bigger revenue the broadcast station has the higher the tax
second expense = broadcast license, in order to watch it and air it, you need to pay a license to have rights to air it in South Korea
third expense = Building Lease, i don't know about it, but most companies just lease the building for a certain number of years then they renew the lease if its up
fourth expense = logistics, in order to for the production equipment to be delivered
fifth expense = production equipment's, a studio equipment is different from a consumer equipment, fee is higher when using a commercial equipment's
sixth expense = production crew, c'mon this is common sense, there a lot of employees in a broadcasting station, and they have salaries that put food on the table
seventh expense = backstage crew, these are your make up artists, PA, etc.. they get payed too,
every year these expense increase, kind of inflation
what happens if one increase, it has domino effect on each expense, I'm pretty sure, employees get increase too every year, they are just not letting you know
these expense could take millions, if there low advertisements on each program of the broadcasting station, where do they put the burden,
that's right to the agencies of the artist,
a deal will take place in order to get a slot on the show
this in return will add on the expense of the agency, then the agency will surely discuss this with the artist's and put in contract
if the artist signs, we are assuming they read the contract
but this is where it gets sad, because for the artist's it will be a hit or miss,
if the artist is gifted but presented with not so well composed music, this will have effect on the result
if the artist got lucky with a nicely composed music but the artist did not do well, this will have effect on the result
if everything comes into place, the artist will be lucky and be like BTS
these are the expense in the background
for fans, so support your biases, and buy their merchandise, as will help them lower their debts and encourage them to not loose hope
for artist whoever is reading this, carefully select the choice of music you will use, because this will make or break your career, this will help your debt situation
    see yah!
    😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

I will always stand with the artist getting paid and exposed the BEST way for THE ARTIST. A music show can turn real exploitative for the talented, young, and determined artists willing do anything for their shot💔
