I'm a Manchester United fan, and from the outside looking in, Conor Gallagher is not good enough to play for a club like Chelsea, let alone be Club Captain. He's a Crystal Palace standard player. Of course there are worse players than him in that Chelsea squad, Cucurella etc, but Gallagher is not good enough to be their captain. It sets the standard and it's all wrong and weak.

Neither a Chelsea or United fan. But it’s genuinely baffling to watch Poch get a free pass during his first season while Ten Hag was relentlessly hounded by the media starting from Week 1 of his first season. People have such short memories that they appear to forget Ten Hag took over a United squad with their worst points tally in their entire Premier League history. Why is Poch constantly getting covered for by the media? He has managed for nearly a decade in the Premier League and is not new to England like Ten Hag. Why the double standards?

It baffles me too, the media wanted Poch for the United job. He has always been their darling, ever since Southampton. As a Utd fan, I wish they'd back off Ten hag. He has inherited almost 20years of a club that has been neglected by it's "owners".
Why is the media so infatuated with Poch? He’s been a decent manager but has never been close to an elite one. You’d think he’d won multiple Premier League and Champions League titles based on how they cover for him. As for Ten Hag, these pundits never speak objectively about why United are performing the way they are. For starters, they haven’t had a proper left footed left back for the vast majority of the season. Move over one spot and their only left footed center back (Martínez) has been out most of the season. He’s one of the few fighters in that team with the right mentality but these same pundits wrote him entirely off for being too short right away. Maguire, Lindelof, and Evans are all not only frequently injured but all of them are far too slow. United can’t play a high line at all with any of them in the back four and have to sit deep with them. I could go on and on throughout the squad but it’s baffling to me to hear these pundits talk in tired cliches instead of objectively analyzing players, coaches, and why teams are performing the way they are.
