i dont know if anyone would agree but txt brought back rock and popularized it in kpop when they dropped lovesong and loser lover, of course rock has been done by other kpop acts before txt but they started the trend with the rock in kpop and were called the "emo kings"

Ughhhh I really really love this title track. A lot to my friends are underwhelmed but this can truly be my fav genre when done right and they DID IT RIGHT
same, this is probably my favorite title track of all time so i'm really surprised to see many people being underwhelmed, because i loooove this genre and they did it perfectly as you said. :D
I think the mv didn't fit the song and that's why at first it felt underwhelming to me, when I listened to it again without mv it hit me way harder

@@vale22. I guess that's probably because it's so heavily American style 🤔 we saw that with Jungkook's Seven and 3D but I think it worked better there because the songs were also just not very K-Pop from arrangement to genre. I get how for this song it didn't quite fit.
Idk why but this is the first retro sound that i really enjoyed in a LONG time

yessss my jaw dropped with tae hyun’s high note, and txt overall really improved with vocals since sugar rush ride in my opinion :)

growing pain is giving me early 2000s WWE PPV theme song and i love it lol. dreamer is so pretty!
Now that I've had time to sit with the song but also the whole album, I do like the title track but I really looove the b-sides. Growing Pain is my shit and I wish it had been the title track but I also listen to metal and rock so it's more of a personal taste thing. I do really like the 80's synths in the Chasing The Feeling and they've done it really well BUT it's one of those sounds that i've grown used to it.
I can never really tell what songs you'll like but Back For More lived in my head for 2 weeks rent free. Right after I would wake up and I'm drinking my coffee getting myself ready to get in the shower and the song would just pop into my head. It also helps that I'm a fan of Anitta and the Michael Jackson sound (and dance) for the song were just right for me.
But I really love this album and cannot wait until mine arrives.

Not gonna lie, when I first watched the mv I was convinced it must be the pre-release. But when I searched turned out it was the title track. It is definitely my least favorite tt by them (the rest of the song are good tho). And the mv...i can't tell exactly what is bothering me, but it feels boring and not exiting at all

yeahhhhhhh i was severely underwhelmed by the tt. i'm just soo over the 80s throwback sound. which sucks because i usually LOVE txt tt's regardless of my not being a hardcore stan of them. but the album itself was so good imo. i feel "chase the feeling" should've been a prerelease it just didn't feel like a title track really.
this is so interesting because chasing that feeling is probably one of my favorite txt songs ever, and probably even my favorite txt title track. i guess it depends on which genre people like, but i personally was so pleasently surprised by chasing that feeling and i can't stop listening to it, that's why i'm surprised why so many people feel underwhelmed, because to me its my absolute favorite :D
I was so underwhelmed too by the tt and I don't know if it was an unpopular opinion bec I love TxT so much. But their b sides more than made up for it tbh. I would've preferred Growing Pain to be the title track. Still Im streaming CTF, it is growing on me a little bit 😅
Prefacing this by saying I'm a huge MOA, they're one of my favourite groups, but I feel the exact same way. For me the build up and pay off between the verses and chorus just isn't that great, it doesn't have that title track 'umph'. I also feel like the MV doesn't really help this feeling. HOWEVER, I'm so glad that you can actually hear their different vocal colours more than usual. I've always had a bit of an issue with the way Hybe does vocal processing/auto-tune layering but they toned it all the way down for this title track and they sound amazing!
@@mykatharsis omg same! Im a hardcore moa and tbh ive been hyping them sm online, I dont want to discourage others to stop streaming just bec the song is not what I expected. Like for me SRR was an instant hit and it really screams tt. But it might grow on me more, and I really hope regardless of what moas feel about CTF we would still stream it. The boys worked so hard for this album 🙏
nah imo. im a pre debut moa, at first listen to this song you'll probably goes "????" but honestly after listening it again and again this song is just so good. idk lol, its fits txt a lot

The title song definitely grew on me but they literally had song like growing pain, skipping stone and even dreamer and they choose chasing that feeling to be tittle song. Like tf is wrong with the bighit. They don't want them to be popular??? Be successful .. Its so obvious everyone would love skipping stones, growing pain.. These are literally all members fav songs.
