You guys are correct, Blue Spring is a fan song. Beomgyu produced it and all the members helped write it so it’s very meaningful. In one of TXT’s earliest contents, Beomgyu was going through some of the tracks he had been working on and Blue Spring was there, and I’m so glad we got to hear the finished product after 4 years. They also performed Blue Spring on their tour and during their Lollapalooza set this year and it was amazing to see how many people were able to sing along despite it not being released yet. I’m so glad we now have a studio version that I can stream whenever! Also I just love the title itself because the Korean words "blue" (청) and "spring" (춘) create the word "youth" (청춘) when combined.
I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on each song and the album overall. TXT albums always hold a special place in my heart because not only do they have amazing songs, but they tell stories in such beautiful ways. Each album is crafted to tell its own story and these stories also connect with one another to form one narrative that was established in their debut EP so you can’t help but feel connected to their music. I really hope you guys can slowly go back and listen to the albums you’ve missed (even if it’s just in your own time) because TXT’s discography is something truly special ♡

i had the same overall reaction of this album, all i could think was just "VOCALSSSS" lol, somehow i can feel how intensely their vocals have grown and matured after the experience of their recent tour. kai shocked me the most with his voice, he was already amazing but this album is a huge level up for him. my favorite B-sides are def growing pain and blue spring

I really think TXT has one ofthe best discographies in k-pop since 2019 (and not only referring just to 4th gen, but k-pop in general). they just consistently put out high quality music.
in this album they showcased their range, blurring even more the distinction between k-pop and other genres... the 80's hipnotic synthpop (a-ha vibes) that is chasing that feeling, the slight jersey beat on happily ever after (so bubbly and somewhat experimental), the indierock sound of skipping stones (that has not only nice lyrics, but also a killing melody), the kinda new metal sound of growing pain, the tasteful edm of deep down, the sultry vocals/r&b vibe of dreamer, the heartwarming fansong that is blue spring. (not to mention the bops that are back for more and do it like that.)
This is such an amazing album, txt discography is truly insane... they are not afraid to experiment with genres, that's their brand ❤ I hope you can dive in their previous albums, bsides are sooooo good 😢
The Lollapalooza version of Blue Spring is a much watch!!!

Blue spring I can say that it's one of my favorite songs of them in general!!!!!!!!😍 I can't describe you how much I love this song!! The vocals the lyrics everything is so perfect! You should check out the live performance of blue spring you will fall in love!!!!😍 I love happily ever after the instrumental is soo cute and happy and has so many element that driving me crazy! It makes me wanna dance! And those "lalala" are so satisfied for my ears!!!!!😍🤩 Skipping stones is also such a good song! I love it soo much!😍 Kai's high note killed me and also Yeonjun's vibrato at the end gave me chills!!!🤩Oh yeah and Yeonjun's part at the brigde is sooooooo beautiful, I almost cried!!🥰 I love Yeonjun so much it hurts!💓 Many of us have heard blue spring in the live version long ago, and I'm soo glad we have it in an album finally!! 🥰I enjoyed watching this with you!!!! Happily ever after is a fun song, i say it's the sister of Happy fools (from their previous album Temptation) but the lyric video here is slightly off. Beomgyu actually doesnt sing that line the vid gave him, it would do him a favor tho bc he has no lines in the studio version and on the live performance he gets like a 5 second line from Taehyun
Thats our only complaint abt this song/album, we want the line distributions to be more fair to Beomgyu since he even has expressed that he wants better lines before
Skipping stones followed by Blue spring, thank you whoever thought of placing both songs together, both lyric wise and sound wise they fit into eachother perfectly. Skipping stones is now Soobin's #1 favorite song (and its my favorite on this album) and Blue spring is in fact a fan song. They introduced this song on tour then performed it at Lollapalooza and now we have the official studio version. The first time i heard it live i actually cried
