Went out for another speed run and this is my last attempt before I swap over the motor & esc for something bigger...

@@MarkBryanRC Hi Mark, this was filmed last week and I've added some stuff and taken away some bits just to gain a better top speed overall.

Very nice! The wheelie bar was a smart idea! I may have to borrow that to try and keep the front end down. I have a few last minute tweaks to do on mine but it is 98% ready to go. I will get it out soon and get a video of it either flying or failing! LOL!
@@AddamsPlayground Hi Addam, add some weight to the front if you can or it will flip over like mine has on several occasions.
Still got a long way to go to catch up to Uncle Bob's time so I'm hoping my freshly built Buggy is up to the job.
New vid coming Friday to show everyone what I have done to it to make it quicker.
A new venue has been allocated to allow me to go full throttle, hopefully without crashing. What happens while filming will stay in the video and be uploaded 👍

@@PeteWylieRC Hi Pete, Even with this test, I'm still behind you but I have been tinkering away and all shall be revealed in the next video. The wheelie bar helped but didn't stop it from flipping completely although great fun certainly was had 👍✌️

Excellent speed, Peter! I could hear it is really high on the gearing, but once it got rolling it's a beast!
Nice tiles, by the way... If they did this here, first winter and it'd be all wavy and bumpy, ha ha!
@@madsrcbuggy Hi Mads, I need to find a longer road but the trouble is, the traffic is always busy day or night so I am limited for where I can use it.
The tiles are called Block Paving and when it gets icy, you pray that you don't slide into another car when driving across it 😝🤣😆

There's no way that was up to it's full speed..... you could hear it still winding up as you started to brake.
I think you need a longer stretch of runway to properly unleash the potential of that set up buddy!

I buckled those front steering knuckles like a Boss!!!
I've now fully rebuilt the whole car with a bigger motor and will upload the vid on Friday morning.
Fingers crossed it will finally rip, hopefully not in half 😝😝😆🤣😆😝😂

Hey Peter, a great run, 42mph is very respectable. I think there’s a bit more to be had, looking at the space, I think if you had a longer run, you’d be able to squeeze the HB up a bit more 😊😊best wishes to you and Maisie, keep up the good work, still got a bit to catch Uncle Bob 😊😊
@@JF-RC Hi John, yes indeed I do have quite a bit of catching up with Uncle Bob. The good news is that a suitable area has been found and I am expecting to be in the 50 bracket over the weekend 👍👍👍

@@outbackrcaustralia4895 Thankyou my friend. I have now sourced a bigger area to run the car so that I can use full throttle, at last. It might not be a perfect wheelie bar but it helps to stop the.buggy from flipping over every time I open up the throttle 😆😝
I knew it was going to be a fast run somehow...as you first pulled away, got a little distance away and then gave it the beans, I thought "hmm... someone's feeling frisky..."

I'm still many eons away from catching up to Uncle Bob but I have found a suitable area long enough for me to give it some full throttle up and down a couple times without any interference from pedestrians or traffic. Even the Boy Racers aren't allowed down there which is a win-win for me 👍

@@madmustangrc214 Thanks Kevin, it still pops a wheelie when you least expect it so I've got to get my thinking cap on and work out how to keep the nose down when opening the throttle a bit more 🤔🤔🤔

That sounded like you may have had more in that and the throttle wasnt fully open a lot.
