Wenn man hier hört, wie dieser Song niedergemacht wird, dann versteht man, wieso Deutschland jedes Jahr um den letzten Platz kämpft.

Really, and even if he wasn`t whatever happened to influence? Most of the the worlds better music is a mixture of styles and influences it enriches everybody and often brings lesser known music ( and those who perform them) into the spotlight which would never have found them otherwise. Its nothing to malign ...if these are Germanys musical experts then I`m beginning to understand what happened to Germany in Tel Aviv this year

Die No-Name-Kritiker sind so "gut" im Geschmack, das sieht man an den "Siegen" Deutschlands ☺
Ich verstehe wirklich nicht warum man hier jeden Song runtermachen muss. Ich gehöre zu denen die verdammt selten Kommentare schreiben, aber das geht mir inzwischen echt auf die Nerven. Nach meiner persönlichen (!) Meinung ist Spirit in the sky der beste Beitrag dieses Jahr. Es gibt natürlich auch welche die mir nicht so gefallen (vor allem bei Liedern bei denen ich mit meiner Meinung relativ alleine bin), aber die dann zu haten weil ich nichts Besseres zu tun hab...? Sich wegen Geschmackssache zu 'streiten' ist dermaßen sinnlos dass ich da wirklich etwas besseres erwartet hätte. Ich finde, dass die Stimmen sehr gut zusammen passen und der Song ein perfekter Mix aus Pop und etwas kulturellem, dem samischen Joik ist. Mein Respekt vor Norwegen, sowie Portugal (selbst, wenn es nicht ganz meinen Geschmack trifft, aber das ist ja vollkommen okay) und Island, die sich trauen, auch einmal was anderes zu präsentieren als, in der Art, 1000-mal dagewesene Lieder. Dabei möchte ich die anderen Beiträge keinesfalls angreifen, denn auch unter denen sind ein paar Perlen.

For everyone, sorry from my country! I really love Norway and don’t understand why this „experts” talk some -sorry- bulls*it like this! This song is pretty much better than every song Germany ever had! I just don't understand something disrespectful! Germany sends apologies and warm hugs to all Norwegians and others who find this song as adorable as I do! Just wonderful! It also makes absolutely no sense what these people criticize in the video! That is pure envy that speaks there! I think a lot of Germans think like me. And it’s no wonder that we had 0 votes. We didn't deserve anything else! Alone because of these insults! To everyone, I hope you will forgive us for putting these people in front of the camera and telling them to talk as much crap as you can think of! We love you Norway!

Wenn Norwegen in den Top 10 landet, wobei die Chancen wie sie sicher selbst wissen sehr hoch stehen, würde ich gern deren Reaktion sehen. Genau wie bei Dänemark letztes Jahr, hauptsache runtermachen was geht und sich dann wundern.

How is it cultural appropriation when a Norwegian/ Sami artist performs in one of his languages (here Northern Sami) and combines it with traditional Sami joik? Edit: I don't know if it is traditional joik, but it is joik nevertheless. Hugs from a Norwegian : )

These segments are really cool and well edited. This one also reveals why the juries didn't like the Norwegian song. It's a song for the people, not for the "elite", which is sort of sad because the song has these ethnic elements. It was the same with Rasmussen in 2018 by the way.
And Germany's entry got "0" votes from listeners. Zilch. Is that how you say it in Deutsch? Not one German citizen was voting for their own country?
I haven't heard of "Zilch" 😂, but your right, that the zero points were deserved and "we" shouldn't be that critical to the other countries when we can't delovope a successful song. But to clarify - you can not vote for your own country (nevertheless the zero point from rest of Europe is embarrassing enough)
Ich weiß wirklich nicht was daran so schlecht sein soll. Da gibts im diesem Jahrgang meiner Meinung nach schlimmere Songs wie diesen. Norwegen ist genauso speziell wie Island mit dem Unterschied das es zwei Grundverschiedene Genres sind. Island finde persönlich auch sehr gut aber jetzt Norwegen hier so runterzumachen teilweise das kann ich nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Zumal die anderen Reacts von anderen durchweg positiv waren.

The funny thing is that the German public gave Norway 12 points, quite the opposite of what these "experts" (=snobbish arrogant idiots) in the video probably expected. I was so happy to see Keiino finish at 5th :-)
Also, the German entry wasn't really that popular at all and many Germans didn't like it.

Lieber hör ich so ein Lied als die endlos gleichklingenden Schnulzen. Soll Deutschland lieber erstmal wieder anfangen Qualität hinzuschicken , anstatt sich über andere lustig zu machen.

This should have been the winning song .....I suppose it won in so many other ways and that really the so called critics in the video giving thier opinion are not really that important ...... to be honest Germany ( nothing against Germans ) your entries for the last years ...... have not been that memorable or have ever gained momentum like this song...... Bin voll bei Consi und Vanity Trash (wie immer) - das Lied ist perfekt für'n ESC, auch wenn es trashig ist und es bleibt auf jeden Fall hängen. Das wurde damals auch vom Publikum gewürdigt, 21 hatten wir das mit Go_A (da war aber der Text besser).
Das Zitat von Irving bei 1:46 zeigt nochmal sehr gut, warum dieser Mann, der sich selber "Doktor" Eurovision nennt, in einem Expertenteam nichts verloren hat.

DrCryn Wieso? Ich höre sowas auch nicht, bin aber ein sehr musikoffener Mensch. Ich finde Island dieses Jahr trotzdem klasse, weil mich der Song echt abholt und er sehr original ist. Bis jetzt ist er auf meinem Platz 2 und das mit gutem Recht. 👩🏽⚖️

Die persönliche mochte oder mag es noch gerade wegen der außergewöhnlichen Musik. Da gab's schon schlimmere Interpreten. Manche müssen eben alles schlecht machen. Jeder hat halt nen anderen Geschmack was auch ok ist, aber manche Einschätzungen gehen überhaupt nicht.
So schämt man sich immer wieder aufs Neue Deutscher zu sein....
Zum Ersten: Macht es besser!!!
Zweitens: singt ihr doch mal einen Song mit traditionellen Elementen....
Und drittens: Ach schleckt mich. Interessiert eh keinen mehr im Jahr 2020.
P.S: Geiler Song, der seine Wuzeln behält. Geht ja schliesslich um Norwegen und nicht um das so beliebte Deutschland.......
