    This is the first video from the Orokin Archives! Apologies for the mic quality - still new to the process. Stay tuned for more lore analyses like this one!
    Quick note on spelling: while recent in-game text uses the spelling "Archimedean", we continue to use the older spelling "Archimedian", not least because it shows up in print in the webcomic shown in the video.

    I'm not really a regular commenter but I had to stop by to say that I loved this! So concise, well written and achieved in terms of delving into the lore. Stoked to see what comes next! ❤

    This might be fanon but I always had a theory about the Entrati - I think that since they held the mechanisms of so much of the Orokin empire in their hands, they were allowed to break the rules. Or at least, nobody could stop them from doing so.

      It would make some sense, but then why wouldn't Kaelli be allowed to join the Archimedian Collegium? You'd think her family legacy would get her in the door. We also hear Mother say "The Orokin had no respect for my father's work" during Heart of Deimos, which is quite strange and doesn't align at all with later mentions of Albrecht Entrati. I hope the upcoming Whispers in the Walls update gives us some more details about how the Entrati family was situated during the Orokin age.

      @@OrokinArchivesEularia may have been referring to before Albrecht's voyage into the void. For a long time, he thought it would be the next breakthrough, but he was ignored or ridiculed. He lost all respect of his scientific peers, and was driven to such a point of desperation that he volunteered himself to be the pilot of the seriglass bell. This on its own shows just how depressed and desperate he was, that an Orokin would risk his own life.
      The other explanation could be that the Orokin, in general, had no respect for anything other than themselves. I mean, look what they did to Margulis...then after executing her, turned right around and used all her research they had condemned as blasphemy to serve their war effort. The Orokin are massively hypocritical douchenozzles, after all.

      @@spamhere1123 it is as you said, and after a lot of research, Albretch himself said that he watched the Void and all that he saw was nothing and for that sole reason he saw his research as a failure.
      In further mentions of his accident, the Zariman archimedea mention that when the void and the consciousness meet, something is created and that could explain everything that happened to Albretch.

      Very interesting idea! Hampered a bit by the fact that we don't know the names of all seven, but I like the idea of a video about the Orokin civilisation in general, perhaps. In the meantime, you may enjoy my "Old War" timeline article, which also touches heavily on the pre-War Orokin: www.orokinarchives.com/discussion-timeline-orokin-old-war.

    Is it clearly stated somewhere that the Zariman returned in the Old War? I thought that it returned before, than the Tenno stayed in the dream for a view years, before the Old War broke out

    • @OrokinArchives
      @OrokinArchives  Před 9 měsíci

      This was a bit of information we got very recently. When discussing Kullervo's Seven Crimes, the Warden says that Kullervo, a proto-warframe, struck out against the Orokin "upon the arrival of the wretched Tenno". This means that the Warframe Project (in its early stages, before Transference) must have been in progress when the Zariman returned. It is possible that the Warden was referring to the arrival of the Tenno to the Project instead of arrival to the Origin System, but I think the former interpretation is the simpler one.
