- The Call of the Tempestarii introduced the fascinating story of Sevagoth, the Captain of a Ghost Ship that drifts through void storms. The fierce Vala Glarios pursues the Temperstarii into dangerous space for some unknown reason.
Let's explore what we know about the mysterious Warframe, his Shadow and his connection to the Railjack known as the Tempestarii.

This answered the doubts I had . So sevagoth is dead , the shadow was created by the void and the Blueprint we got is the void build of sevagoth which is far different from the original one
In short. Sevagoth is Warframe's version of a poltergeist.
A ghost of the void.
tldr: Sevagoth's stand's mission is to rescue his Stand user
*No JoJo*
Yeah it is like a Stand from jojo with a mind of its own. While ingame he plays like Smash bros Joker from Persona 5.
its like silver chariot requiem
I just think sevagoth is warframes version of davy jones
It kinda makes sense, sevagoth is the helmsman and rescued lost souls. With Davy Jones He was the captain/helmsman of his ship the Flying dutchmen. Davy Jones is basically the ferryman of the dead rescuing them from adrift in the depths kinda like how sevagoth and the tempestarii
I thought hydroid was Davy Jones, he’s got that tentacle look, plus his prime literally has a pirate hat
@@learnlangp5472 Hydroid is more like Henry Avery... or Thomas Tue, or any famous Pirate in History
Nekros+Pirate= Sevagoth
Sort of.
But he's more of a poltergeist. He's literally a vengeful/restless ghost of the void.
So the sevagoth we use is more likely one version of the original. The void gives you a version of sevagoth (at a certain time) it created.
Sevagoth Prime would definitely be interesting lore wise
sevagoth umbra would be interesting too lol
@@UMBR444 Hell yeah
Perhaps it'd be him before he entered the void, leaving only him behind. I don't know how any of the abilities lore wise would work though.
Imagine Lavos Prime. 🤤
Along with Railjack Prime
Just finished the quest. I had alot of questions, glad to see you had a video already out
So ya all gonna ignore the fact that sevagoth is the ONLY warframe that can talk? Also releasing sevagoth prime would be wierd because he does exist since the orokin era.
What about Protea she speak when we fight her in the Granum Void
You know what would be unique?
If Sevagoth Prime have a comoletely different ability set than the void-warped version that we currently have
@@wertaiman4216 That's a Protea Spectre made by Pavos. Maybe just his own programming.
@@fitzviandraduivenab2790 and Umbra can Scream
Go to wiki. Says valkyr, atlas, protea, rhino, and umbra are frames with voices.
Hope you do more Warframe , you can cover for levirian, there is a lot of cool lore there.
Defo plan to! Have some stuff I’m working on rn
@@SmoughTown yeah , and also about the end i think Sevagoth was always a shadow based warframe, and that thats the only reason he "survived"the void storm.

For some reason I think Cy was tempestari's Cephalon
Your Cold Below video improved a lot on this one by adding independent research!
Here's some extra symbolism with Sevagoth though.
He's patterned in some ways after a shinigami, hence the heavy use of white as a death-symbolizing color as opposed to Nekros' black. Nekros is actually more of a necromancer; Sevagoth is more directly a Grim Reaper archetype.
Now, what's interesting about that is that the Grim Reaper, shinigami, and others of that ilk are collectively referred to as psychopomps; their role is not to raise the dead or necessarily to kill, but to guide the souls of the dead to the afterlife. That's why the Charon symbolism is present in Cold Below - Sevagoth is also Warframe's Charon, ferryman of the dead.
Except for one thing: Sevagoth is a savior of lives. He guides lost souls away from death rather than toward it, at least in the lore. As a Warframe he does what one might expect of a reaper - send our enemies to the other side - but as a character, Sevagoth is a neat little inversion. There's something that could be read into all that from the Orokin fascination with dualism, I suppose - that the guide between the living and dead realms goes both ways.
Also, I interpreted the Shadow as such: It was part of the original Warframe, but Void energy is what keeps it animated, able to stay autonomous despite the loss of Sevagoth. So we're not getting a vastly different Warframe like Valkyr presumably should have been (Prime being expedient for gameplay, I suppose), but rather, what the Warframe was originally like, only able to separate his Shadow for a limited time rather than the Shadow being a semi-living remnant that persists indefinitely and searches for its owner.
It is more interesting and misterious that our version of sevagoth is the void built one. It adds a nice layer of misteriouness to its story
This is now my canon.
I like to think his head is shaped like that because he’s a railjack captain and boards ships by shooting himself into them and his melee focused skills tell the rest of the story
What I want to know is why a *rescue ship* has some kind of void nuke or whatever that thing was. You would think it would be built for speed and just have enough offensive to fend off whatever it’s trying to save people from and wouldn’t need a weapon that powerful
It's probably more of the void changing aspects of the Tempestarii
One reason, and one reason only, Sentients. Void energy is their big weakness. However, a lot of them are very, very, very durable. The void nuke might be just barely enough to get away from some of the bigger threats.
Consider this, what do we do on "Rescue missions"? We go in, shoot everything that moves, get the rescue target, then get out.
"Rescue" could be more than just humanitarian work.
The void nuke is most likely a post-void change to the ship. I don't think the spooky void vibes around the ship is something the ship was built with either.
You can see Lucrecia platform in the Veil Próxima
What node is it in?
Nekros, Garuda and Sevagoth..
The Dead Pact..
I need to get back into this. New frame looks slick.
Sevagoth is my favourite warframe because of his adaptability in combat
Reap cutting the enemy’s health
Gloom slowing enemies
His shadow shredding flesh and steel alike
I have replaced sow with valkiers warcry to decrease speed further
I felt that The ending where Vala Glarios met Parvos Granum is the time she's the only survivor of the first ship she's in where she mentioned that her sisters, or probably crewmembers, died
And the story you're playing was Vala Glarios' Revenge against the Temperstarii but failed due to the Tenno,You, interventions .
and as she sings, she's with her sister now as her ship explodes
Sisters of Parvos would like to have a word
@@elitejt8388 she better find me first
Different from original spec, kinda long the same vein as Revenant then perhaps, who was molded by Sentient energy instead of Void?
Im extremely happy and what are DE doing lately.
Id be extremely happy if they took out bullet jumping
@@K3470N_ you serious?
@@K3470N_ Bruh
@@K3470N_ and next, sprinting, I think the game may even be better with less guns, possibly no melee at all. While we're at it, we can take out the missions too.
It's not like they're fundamental to Warframe or anything.
@@Gerlaffy u forgot to add they should take out warframes too
We're Sending you to the granum realm jimbo
Vala is an interesting Character. She doesn't seem to be indulging in the usual Corpus behavior.
Imagine if you where in the Warframe universe you are in space snd a void rip appears and starts talking about things in the past and if you don't respond in an appropriate manner then it kills you if be horrified i wouldn't even go
2:11 ❤
What us the weapon the ship uses
Basically, Flying Dutchman in warframe, right ?
4:03 so they just throw the pod out to drift until it enters the gravity and crashes into a planet/sun/black hole. I guess its best not to think about it
It’s the same thing as a burial at sea
Viking burial
But what happened to sevagoths tenno?
Yes this bothers me lot
Maybe his mind merged with Sevagoth
@@Vergil_Sparda kinda like Harrow is/was...
Save-a-goth.
See that's the thing I don't get about Warframe.
Sevagoth, Valkyr and Nidus make NO sense.
Or rather, Their primes don't/wont.
It's clear Valkyr and Sevagoth are warped, changed from the old war.
And nidus isn't even really a warframe, he's a failed subject, infested flesh wrapped around the systems of a warframe, fused together as the infested do with machines, woven into one.
Nidus was abandoned as a project because the flesh was too strong, it overcame the Orokins plans to control it as a surrogate, now sure, we could have corrected that while building him, but the prime, or the "alpha version, the first" was a total failed version, so either we did not in fact build nidus and valkyr prime, or the story of the warframes orogin is wrong.
Valkyr Prime's appearance is pretty alright though. I suspect the Tenno didn't have any idea what Valkyr Prime was supposed to be like thanks to Valkyr being warped from the torture, so they just based Valkyr Prime on Valkyr. An incomplete recreation with bits from what we have filling in the gaps.
Nidus Prime and Sevagoth Prime could be that as well, the original could not be built without either a crippling flaw or gaps in its abilities, so they took the bits from the regular version of the frames to fill in the gaps.
Nidus Prime was given the same correction that Nidus has to make it controllable, and Sevagoth Prime, similar to Valkyr, had data from the normal Sevagoth we got used to fill in the gaps.
The void allows for infinite possibilities to take up an infinite amount of points.
It’s possible while in the current reality, where these weren’t actually made, there’s the possibility that these frames could’ve been created in another instance, which the void then gives shape and connects to the real world.
So just simply the possibility of orokin succeeding in making a nidus prime even if they didn’t is enough for the void to create a nidus prime.
Then again idk
varzia dax said that some prime were made after their "basic" form and some were made before and add that "ballas never revealed the truth"
The Calliope Mori warframe
It doesn’t really answer anything you just repeat what we know about the quest, I want to know how he’s tied to pavos and it’s history ...guess we gotta wait for Rahetalius
@@Philtret agreed, like how can such a weapon exist for it if railjacks didn’t come with it and is the ship itself alive since Cy says “we will see the ship again”. I also want to know the purpose for the frames creation and the story of the Tenno that used it which is why I’m kinda upset af that there’s no leverian
Yea that song is definitely cringe.
