Hi guys , i've just known about the knots and i love it so much. I watched hundred videos about tying knots and i think JD ( this channel ) has the best tutorials of tying knots. I really want to try it but i don't know where to buy paracord and the paracord is very expensive ( actually i'm very poor ) . So could you guys tell me if i don't use the paracord , which material could i used to tying knots like JD ? and does it nice as the paracord ?

I'm in a budget too, so I don't use paracord because it's expensive for me, instead I use ratstail, it's like a ribbon, but cilindric, very unexpensive and easy to find.

I'm going to use hollowed out piece of anther for a spacer.. If you're no picky a branch would week the same as anther an give it nice rustic look. Thanks for taking your time in the video. I stopped it about a hundred times lol. This is the first Celtic paracord item in done. Now I know I can do it

Thank you for the tutorial. The Celtic medallion came out quite well. It is a little difficult to get a perfect heart shape, but it looked impressive nonetheless.

He did do a great job with this one! This one would tend to lay flatter than the single heart. His colors are good for instructional purposes, but would look better as like pink and red, or grey and black. All of his colors are just weird and not really wearable. This would also be nice made out of that leather shoe laces stuff. And maybe use like 3 copper compression rings for the fancy top part? Sorry, J.D., but it looks like a little girl made it for another little girl. I am pretty sure that you could make this one out of 3 strands, 2 grey and one pink. I am going to try it! Thank you J.D.!
