The C-Stick being in the wrong place can just be attributed to bad drawing, seeing as it's in the wrong place compared to a 360 controller too. Same thing with the D-pad (which is shaped like the shitty GC one).
Nintendo are so goddamn picky with what's allowed to write on the Miiverse, too. It's okay to have an enemy called "bullet bill" in Mario games, but it's not okay to use the word "bullet" in a post. It's okay to have a character named Athena in a PW game, but you can't write "god" or "goddess" when talking about her. It's not child friendly, it's just suffocating. It's like an overly protective parent that covers you in bubble wrap in the hopes of protecting you, but also covers your airways, muffling your screams for help as you slowly faint and die from the lack of oxygen.
It's mostly due to Japan's culture. It is very strict in what media is allowed. However this leads to lots of repressed people that produce over-the-top content (which is what we get exposed to, i.e. tentacle porn).

The problem is that those games have a price of many games from Steam including new titles yet they are like less than 5 hour long with very low amount of content. Also Nintendo have problem with many people using roms and emulators cos of (guess what) over price, roms are easy to download and you can put them on mobile phone to play ....well, mobile. Nintendo would easy fix the problem if they would lower the prices to 1 or 2$ per NES/ SNES/GBA game or by adding some extra content like coop , more levels , difficulty selection or something like that.
I guarantee you people are still buying those games even if they are free on the internet, and they cost almost no money to distribute compared to physical copies. Good business plan for casuals.
Nintendo, y u do dis? So there was a DS game on the eShop that I wanted. It costs 9.99 dollars. I have a $10 eShop card. Tax included made it be $10.74. I only had 10.73 (with $10 card). Nintendo doesn't accept debts of *one fucking cent.* So I went out of my way to find another $10 card, paid for it, and got the game. With money still on my account. If Nintendo would've allowed me to buy it without the one cent needed, I wouldn't of needed to spend $20.
I got "banned" from miiverse once because it said draw a console (this is is game and wario) so i drew an Xbox360 and it said Xbox420 on it... Another one was because it said draw fat kids and I drew fat kids I got "banned" wtf?

Nintendo doesn't understand emulators. If they want to keep people buying their old games, they need to offer them at an insignificant price. And they need to provide features and a gameplay experience as good as( if not better than) emulators; they do neither. Emulators are not only the cheaper way to play the games, they also provide the best experience. That's pretty sad when you think about it.
i know this is an old comment but Nintendo still has the upper hand when it comes to ds and wii games and besides if you're a good and reasonable human being you'll support the actual developers of the game rather than an illegal rom theres no excuse for not buying virtual console games on the eshop other than being lazy most of the ds games and snes games are usually no more than 10 dollars if you can't afford that you're either too young to get a job or have no stable income

And when it comes to classic games, (NES, SNES, GB, etc) the prices on them are insane. Many of them, I wouldn't pay more than 4-5$ or so for, are still marked up for full price, 10-20$. And my point still stands about emulators providing more features, and a better experience. If the developer takes the time to ask me to pay for their old games, I will. ...Then I'll continue playing them on the emulator. :P
