I've watched several tissue holder mason jar tutorials and this one by far had more helpful hints of all. I've made three, making 12 for the church bazaar, will make them better with your inspirations, thanks so much.
use a decorative fabric in place of felt and use elmers glue or mod podge to make it sturdy and fray free, imagine the beautiful fabrics you can enhance your jar with like linens and blue jean and just anything that appeals to you.
Your diy is good....you explain it all...I have been looking for a diy for mod podge napkins on these jars...no one explains it! Mayb its a trial and error thing? But you explain so well...
I'm new to cricut and I've learned so much with this tutorial you're such a great teacher. I love the tissue jar. I'll be making these very soon. Thanks 😉
This is super cute! It's not often I learn anything new about Design Space but today you taught me about the blank canvas button, how awesome is that?!?!
MayMay, thank you so much for going so in depth with your talk through! It helps so much, all those little issues that could come up, you explain everything needed to fix them. Thanks again! Love your creations xo
Super cute! I've never made this but I've used my cameo to make a flower or bunny etc., and used it as a stencil painted over it peeled it off and used it as a candy jar.
Great project - great for gift-giving. However, the removal piece from the lid? Well, I immediately though ORNAMENTS - especially with pics on them. Love it! TFS
These are SO adorable! What a wonderful gift idea. I would love to make these personalized for teachers! This may be a silly question, can we make this with a plastic jar? I would be worried about glass in the classroom with the little ones. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful project with us! Great instructions 😀
Can you use the Mod Podge matte water-based glue, sealer & finish if you don't have the waverly's matte finish? This is a lovely tutorial by the way! I thought I had everything prepared. LOL!
Thanks Maymay for a great step by step video! This is exactly what I need. I still have a Cricut Expression and have been debating on getting a new machine. Is the Maker the best one to have? I think a wireless machine would be helpful. Can I use my cartridges with it? I love this project! SO cute!
@@ruthranieri9268 I think I would still want a lid just because of dust. But cool that you don't really need one. Yes, it nice and compact so takes up less space than a long tissue box.
then she'd have to cut a hole that may be sharp, it's metal you know and other things are easier to adapt and you can use a decorative fabric or anything sturdy where a metal cutter is not required

Wonderful instructions for the jar and for Cricut. Thanks for sharing!
I love how you give step by step instructions! No one else like you on you-tube explains things so perfectly like you! Excellent instructions! 👏👏👏💖
tip: I use the lip of the tubal tissue. That plastic piece pops out, it has the cross mark and fits perfectly into the lid
I've used that too but hers looks much nicer.

Thank u for the tutorial. I have definitely learned some new things. Indonhave a question. Where did you get the pen cutter you are using?
sarah nelson hello we sell the Pen Blades in our store, here is the link: bit.ly/2LdN2Pi
Thanks
❤️
Is the jar small mouth or wide
Target has a 4 pack of the Kleenex for $8.50
$7.49 at my Target - woooohooooo - that's Tallahassee! (Oh, that's 2022 lol)
I was wondering do you have to hold it to pull out the issue? Or will the weight of the jar hold it?
The weight of the jar holds mine down when you pull a tissue out.
Ruth Ranieri hello, the jar lid tension will hold it secure, thanks

A Tissue for your Issues
pick your battles.......not your nose (hehehe)
Girrrrl, save yourself a whole lotta time and put that “lid” you popped out of the kleenex tube and use it in your mason jar!
