- On Mon.'s episode of No Dunks, the guys discuss how the Minnesota Timberwolves overcame a 20-point deficit to knock off the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets, the Indiana Pacers catching fire in Madison Square Garden to eliminate the hobbled New York Knicks, and P.J. Washington's free throws helping the Dallas Mavericks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to reach Western Conference Finals. That, plus OKC's difficult coaching challenge decision, the T-Wolves' clean throwback jerseys, and handshakes vs. hugs.

I like that cold open today. 😂
only found you guys this playoffs but realy love the podcast am now a regular :)
BRING YA ASS!
CRINGE
I knew as soon as the Nuggets did nothing at the trade deadline that they were inevitably toast. Their competition got stronger, and losing Brown and Green made them weaker on the defensive end. They were missing a credible backup center (sorry Zeke and DeAndre) so Jokic was doomed to get gassed. Also, and I mean no offense to the guy because he occasionally played well, but relying on Justin Holiday to come off the bench for a Game 7 seems worrisome at best. I think some offseason roster shuffling is essential.
Thank you for showing some love for OKC
I think Luka got a tech in game 6 vs Thunder
so another point for Trey in the instigator draft
Guys, you did not mention the pidgeon in the pacers - knicks game!
I’m ngl I had work early this morning so I turned off the game after Ant airballed that middy in the third😂😭 I was absolutely shocked when I looked at the score and saw Minnesota won
LETS GO PACERS 🅿️🟡 Im 22 and started watching
hoops in 2015 so this is the biggest moment I’ve ever experienced with my team
the Knicks fan that got Hali going was Ben Stiller, star of the Ben Stiller show
Happy the cs are taking on the Pacers next round. Should be a good one with Nesmith coming back to Boston in a new big role. Appreciate the coverage, guys!
This postseason has made me question team makeup. The playoffs have been so physical in comparison to the past few years (though playoffs are always more physical). Makes me think that some front offices built their team to be more skill or athletic based just to see the team fizzle in the playoffs because they're not physical enough. I feel like the Mavs-Thunder series was this way. I think the Wolves-Nuggets series had some of this too, though to a lesser degree.
Should front offices expect to build teams with these physical playoffs in mind? Or is this incredibly physical style of play not going to continue?
What does everyone else think?
Skeets said Cat Stevens on Jokic. 😂😂😂 7:30.
I’ve been waiting on a No Dunks x Mavs shirt 🔥
Great job 👏 guys, enjoy the insight, and enthusiasm for the game!
Knicks fan here: Joel Embiid is easily the biggest Knicks villain since Trae, and he's bigger than Trae. People were furious with his flagrant fouling particularly on Mitchell Robinson.
And while TJ killed the Knicks, like Maxey, most Knicks fans had nothing but admiration and respect for the way he carried himself in the series even though he dominated New York.
2 wcf in 3 seasons.
Not bad for Luka"can he play winning basketball" Doncic
So happy about the Wolves advancing. Hoping they bring home the title and the hating on KAT and Gobert subsides. The Inside the NBA crew can kick rocks as they look for new jobs. Been lowering bball IQs for long enough.
Realistically I think the Celtics remain the favourites, but I think a Pacers vs Timberwolves finals would be very very fun, so that's what I'm hoping for.
That is espns worst timeline
Congratulations To Ant & The Squad #NoDunks
I'm surprised you guys didnt mention Jokic's play in the second half.
I haven't looked at the numbers but to me he looked very stagnant and settled for way too many contested 3s
Daigneault should have had two timeouts left, no reason to be burning them all early.
Awroooooooooooo!!! Where TK's guitarr at?
Lmao for years the stream team would complain pacers or twolves don’t get talked about here, now they both made it to conference finals 😂
I've never been as baffled by a series as the Wolves-Nuggets series. And I've never been as baffled by a team as the Wolves. I still don't understand why they're good. Even defensively, it feels like there's some sorcery. I mean, they held the Nuggets to 2004 Piston-level scores THREE TIMES. How does a team playing KAT at the 4 do this? It shouldn't work. Is all that matters being gigantic anymore? As a small ball advocate, this is a sad day for me.
Dap then hug
2) MPJ is like Klay. He shot them out of the series and it's time for his ass to get traded and get some depth since Denver has ZERO depth. Worst fucking playoffs. Fuck this year and can't wait for the right teams to win.
Hear Malone cry at the table xD
Luka is my only hope, i can't stand seeing another countryman being killed
Tas needs to go by T now, real Q energy
1) fuck the Pacers, they got lucky in every round. "Hali" been inconsistent and still ain't worth that contract. No Dame, Giannis, OG, Mitchell, Bogi, Randle, then Hart/Brunson getting hurt. Like seriously. This team doesn't deserve going to the ECF
"THERE'S MORE WAYS TO WIN A BASKETBALL GAME WHEN YOU'RE NOT JUST AN OFFENSIVE PLAYER .. I'M NOT ONE DIMENSIONAL' - ANTHONY EDWARDS
With the Nuggets being knocked out I'd like to congratulate the Celtics on winning the 2024 NBA Finals.
Jokic try to beat a 50 win team challenge
I got 2 words to say "Timber Wolfes"
1 year and 2 months of being sad about the chances of a NO CHAINS disc golf podcast :(
Knicks shot 173 free throws this series to the Pacers 113. Just saying.
The Knicks just had so many injuries. The Pacers are losing in 5 or 6 easily if the Knicks have a healthy Brunson, OG, and Hart. It's that simple.
If you want to win a championship you have to learn how to play injured.
@@kareno35 that's absurd. The Knicks players were playing hurt since the start of the playoffs and even before then if you have been paying attention. A team can only handle so many injuries.
Save that nonsense, hold the L.
Why were they all injured? Maybe because your top players play every minute of every game?
And if you don't play your top guys all game then pacers will win. Knicks need more depth.
@@saturndaise well it didn't help our depth when Bojan and Mitch went down early in the playoffs. Both injuries which have nothing to do with minutes played. Sometimes you just have bad luck and the Knicks will absolutely try to get depth through the draft and trades. In reality the Knicks are just starting their run.
Day 11 of asking for an Awful Coaching cold open. Starting to believe he may be too explicit for the guys..
Or one dimensional…
