The Jr smith dunk at 6:11 is still one of my favorite dunks ever for many reasons
The dunk itself was incredible. The “we just saw a man fly” is one of the best calls I ever heard. The clock was winding down to end the quarter so as Jr was running full speed everyone was anticipating a last second shot but he kicked it into another gear and made a move to the basket. I witnessed this dunk live on tv Twitter was on fire after this dunk. Jr was rocking the cool grey’s that had just dropped and had everybody in a frenzy at the time. And last but not least it doesn’t show it here, but the camera panning to Carmelo for his reaction and he was giving a nonchalant nod of approval knowing he wanted out of Denver at the time will forever be hilarious

A lot of these dunks should be called offensive fouls, especially Ja Morant's.
He literally uses his free arm to elbow the defender in his face, or uses his fist/palm to strike the defender and then dunk. That shayt is weak. Until someone lays him the f... out!

@@hammersbaseball11 I was getting so frustrated watching this whole video and seeing only 1 dunk from Kemp that wasn't even his top 5 best dunks but he saved one of his best ones for last so I was a little more forgiving but in my mind there should have been more of Kemp! But I won't hold it against Prod, it's his video and he can do as he wishes, still a fun video!

This is one of the greatest dunks ever because it just shouldn't have gone in. Somehow he just went straight to the rim and it worked.
Ya know what was REALLY cool about Erving's dunks?
He didn't feel the need to stand there, look around, stare at a camera, step over other players, hang on the rim, or stare down a defender.
The Doctor was badass, without all that. That's the reason why him and his peers are so respected.

This is a great video . I'm 45 I remember seeing some of these dunks as a kid on TV. Favorite one John Starks dunks on Jordan and Horace Grant; Michael Jordan getting on the receiving end of a poster didn't happen very often. My favorite dunker is Vince Carter.

My favorite NBA Dunk of all time was this J.R Smith's dunk at 15:25. I've only watched him at Cleveland i didn't knew he was so athletic that he can do dunk like this.

As a former student at Oklahoma I gotta say I think Blake Griffin is one of the best high flying dunkers in the league. I watched him do a dunk in college where he got so much air on the base;one that he hit his head on the backboard and still posterized the other player.
It's crazy that pg is athletic as hell n even he couldn't get as high and as fully extended as when Vince Carter did that dunk in the slam dunk contest
