Probably my least favorite chapter in the series. Having finished Lady of the Lake, I see what it was building for. Still, this chapter had a scene dealing with how armies of this era dealt with latrine waste from the winter. Why did we need that? As much as I was pushing through this chapter, it does have a satisfying finale with the halflings.
