I love how he pronounces the spanish words with an american accent
He nails it too!!
Mexicans, Guatemalans, Peruvians, etc. are American.
@@wetguavass ok..what would you call the language then. There are two continents named America and there is also a country named America
@@wetguavass ya deja la huevada ya sabes a lo que referia...por dios -.-
@@wetguavass Seriously? It is pretty well accepted everywhere that when you say American, it means someone from the USA. Citizen of the United States of America or USA citizen are both clunky and no one says it. Anyone south of the USA are either Central or South Americans and anyone north of the US mainland is a Canadian, minus the Americans in Alaska.
"Your English is IMPECCABLE woman!"
I'M DYING
In the library looking for la biblioteca. Brilliant!
How-come we didn’t think of that
You're right, the answer must be in one of those books!
Only after the final scene did I realise that while the word "biblioteca" is universal for most European languages, English is almost the only exception and native English speakers don't have a clue what it means if they don't know another European language well enough.
imyarek
True! I was surprised they don’t know the word. It’s the same in other European languages just with different endings.
May I know the meaning of that word please?
How does this guy look both 50 and 13 at the same time
Mike Campbell he’s a Trans Ager. Like he switched his ages.
50+13/2=31.5 yrs
Because he's Michael Reeves
shanmukh sai333 the equation is wrong
Because at 50, people act like they’re still 13 and a 13 always wants to be respected like a 50 person
"That monkey is evil Dora and we both know it"😂😂
"Open your eyes!" "I'm sorry" :D
Cheydinal lmao i died too cuz he was fallin asleep lmao
"Shitty bruno mars" killed me an possibly made me pee a bit😂😂😂
AND!!!!!
ArgChica that's hot
DICK😂😂😂
TMI
A fellow Argentinian who immigrated to USA?
As a student who studied Spanish for a year, this is too true 😂😂 and I'm from Asia.
Wait I thought the Alternatino started this year? How did this come out 2 years ago
😂
That's what i was thinking! I was tripping out lol
There was a web series before the actual show with the same premise!
@@Lemit Just like Broad City, it also started as a web series before it got a regular slot on Comedy Central.
Yeah me too.
The Mrs. Lopez scene was great.
3:11 he looks down to the subtitles & says bathroom & puppies. Lol. So many small details.
“You’re a dead man!”
Arturos' voice is so low, donde esta mi pantalones?

"A Dorito?"
I'm done XD
Bojack Hex I love how it wasn’t there at the start of the fold
Me llamo T-Bone, la araña discoteca.
Kristan O. Discoteca, muñeca, La biblioteca es en bigote grande, perro, manteca.

"im sorry"
Had me XD
Did anyone just instantly think 'Community' when reading the title?
JakeyBoy YES
No I thaught ¿donde esta la bibliotheca?
That's what I thought it was about..
yeees. Is this sentence some running gag in the US? please tell me. I'm confused
Yesss
Lol... I loved the "unsolved mysteries" reference. That show used to scare the bejeezus outa me when I was little.
mmmmSmegma still does. Anytime I hear the theme music and I’m home alone I change the channel
Lol try watching it now. Pretty cheesy.
Yeah, man! Screw that theme music, man!
I still wonder about some of those mysteries
*"Oooh muy bien! You're a dead man!"*
Wow... It's like.. You watched the video too.
"Ow! Not again..." Lol. La biblioteca will never be revealed! Stay vigilant, amigos.
When their legs moved apart 😂
I now want to become a Spanish teacher just to show this in class🤣
omg ben platt singing "donde está la biblioteca" is both the most wonderful and hilarious thing I've ever seen
How did I just find out about this show?? It's hilarious 😂
I want the studio version of Ben platt singing done esta la biblioteca
donde esta la biblioteca (original broadway cast)
I just can’t stop watching Alternatino!
The subtle yet random shift that happens is great😂
I laughed out loud when he started to read the subtitles on the screen @ 3:10 :D
I took a single year of Spanish and donde esta la bibliotheca has been my go to phrase for like 12 years lol
I'm glad you know then how to spell biblioteca
I only learned "Donde esta las chicas malas?".
@@WeldingForJesus estan
@@AJ5 Gracias! 😁
I hate this guy in narcos.that really show how good his acting skill is
This guy has me in stitches every time and yet i keep coming for more!
The "Not again!" as he dies really got me.
how deep can I possibly be in ben platt videos to come across this
I thought this was Adult Swim for a moment. In a good way.
Thank you for posting these up!
What I find particularly amusing is the fact that the shot on top of the roof near the end shows the Brooklyn Museum in the background, which is a stone's throw away from Brooklyn's main Biblioteca!
this is literally one of the funniest sketches i've watched in my entire life. only spanish learners will understand lmao
El baño está frió, amor perritos, tiene alguno?
“Ah ah ah, En Espanol!”
This is wildly accurate.
two years ago? but the pilot episode only came out this week.
I think much like Key and Peele, they uploaded a few sketches online to gauge peoples interest
Back in 2015/2016, there were several "shorts" and skits that were part of the CC Snapchat webseries.
If you are a "Broad City" fan, check out "Time Traveling Bong" w/ Ilana from 2016.
Other shows from the app/web series that helped folks get air time: "6 Guys 1 Car" w/ Dormtainment, "Now Hiring w/ Michele Wolf"...
Mandela effect in full swing.
@@blacklanner5795 THAT'S WUT I WAS THINKING!! ;D
He’s been around for a while. Everyone is just extremely late. He has been doing Spanish comedy for a long time. Welcome my English speaking friends. Welcome to Arturo’s comedic genius.
“ tonight on solving things in a trench coat “ 😂😂
"Oh, bathrooms and puppies ay?" had me cracking up. The kid saying spanish person annoyed me. Then he fell and I laughed again.
These sketches are all brilliant :o
Alright this guy is now my favorite comedian. 😂😂
Who knows where la biblioteca is? Maybe you could find out in a library?
He deserves his own Netflix series ..
Love the Robert Stack's Unsolved Mysteries reference at the end there.
Imagine you’re trying to get to the bottom of this and your teacher is like a a aaah en Español!
And you can’t say anything to serve justice.
My god. Comedy Central just found a jewel. This guy can act any role.
I studied spanish for 4 years in school, I've lived in Brooklyn, Lower East Side, harlem, Washington Heights and Bronx and I still don't know where La Biblioteca is!!
"Donde, está, la biblioteca. Me llamo T-Bone La araña discoteca"
This is such accurate impersonating of those tv hosts 🤣 best part was when he hid the hottest librarian calendar in his jacket for later 😅😅 and the stiff awkward run up the stairs
This show is amazing
When they shot helados guy with the dart, I really felt that inside
4:34 "with new introduction by Thomas Pynchon"
Now that's a deep cut reference! (FYI Pynchon's "The Crying of Lot 49" revolves around a centuries-old conspiracy carried out by mail delivery people)
“Solving crime in a trench coat”
Dude I’m lower that the floor
"Tonight on Clock Ticking on a Screen"
i love how media categorizes brooklyn as east new york on the L line which takes you into manhattan, there is a HUGE SECTION not gentrified, coney island, bensonhurst, sunset park, are all areas that have many of its original tenants still intatct.
I've gotta say this man is top notch when it comes to researching...
I’m obsessed ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 😂
🤨 *And tune in next week, when we solve the ever elusive "Quiero caminar en el parque".*
Literally no one would say that, they wanna go to the park, not walk in the park.
I like that they made an entire see-saw just for that one scene.
0:24 As a Brooklyn Native he's not lying lmfao 😂😂😂
smelling those flowers though!!!!
Highly entertaining!
Such a deep critic!
he points to the wrong side in the beginning. Absolutely professional editing.
Wow this show is amazing
great show. Love the Brian McCann cameo at the end. I was wondering where he went after he left Conan's show
The mlb catcher?
Ha! This is so on point. My high school Spanish teacher always said " Uh-huh-uh ,in Espanol" whenever we answered in English. And we learned what and where the Biblioteca was.
This is so good
Your are the Best!!
I love this show 😂😂
Ken has a beautiful singing voice.
4:24 The way he runs up the stairs 😂
this is the hardest I've laughed in a long time
Omg so good!!!
I lived in Costa Rica for 4 months, learned a lot of Spanish and now I’ve forgotten it all
Hollywood needs to make a 2 1/2 hour blockbuster out of this!
Ben Platt in Alternatino??? YES PLEASE
When the dude got sniped in the neck with a dart and said "not again"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 how many times has this happened... this poor man 🤣🤣 im fried
It's so crazy and lovely 🤩😍😍😍😍
Great comic delivery and it's the dude from Pitch Perfect!!!
The guy on pitch perfect
Arturo Castro + Ben Platt = heaven
Ms Lopez's handwriting is excellent
Hilarious! 🇧🇷 😃He’s a great actor.
Anyone else got super invested in this investigation too?🤣🤣🤣🤣
nice unsolved mysteries reference at the end
Hes in la biblioteca the whole time 😂
Another great question. When learning English I always heard "the book is on the table", but never could find the table.
I just love when that guy says "not again"
This is so true.
Did he actually read the subtitles on the screen?
100% did that, was awesome.
Omg he did, love that
Didn’t notice.
"Solving Things, IN A TRENCH COAT.... I am dead.
Tune in tonight on..."solving thing's in a trench coat" 😂😂😂
It’s just the library 😂 I only know because of danny Duncan saying Donde esta la leche and learning other words😂😂
I think that was the Cadman Plaza Library in Brooklyn Heights
Donde Esta la Biblioteca? Where is the library?
isn't it a community reference though?
Community is making the same reference, but it is not a Community reference.
It is a simple school-related question that teaches basic grammar.
It's how school teaches Spanish and how Spanish speakers sometimes make fun of non-Spanish speakers.
This is awesome and hilarious.
Uplifting yet comedic
3 YEARS AGO? Wtf I’m just learning about this show in 2020
Ben!! I love that :))
