Goin' To Waste • Marc Bristol with Filé Gumbo

This is the last of 3 songs written and sung over the phone to Germany. to my wife Gaby, to try and get her to move here, which she did! She came to visit for a couple weeks after I wrote the first one ("Sweet Little Boppin' Gal") and sang it to her over the phone, and the photos over the first verse were taken on that visit. 6 months later, after two more songs and phone calls nearly every day, she finally came to stay. This is on the Filé Gumbo CD "Travelin' Mood," and also on "the Best of Marc Bristol - Country, Vol. 2." Both are available directly from me. The nice guitar solo after the second verse and chorus is Orville Johnson, not just a band mate but also our producer on that CD.
