- THE GREY BOOK
The color appears as an intense light in the middle of the gray of the street, in the middle of the gray of the asphalt.
Gray skies threatening storm, leaden gray, silver-gray and, by contrast, bright color.
This book is illustrated with drawings made on a very special paper, a paper that has a different background from the usual white: its gray base allows you to draw the shadows and make them shine.
The material I have used to achieve these effects is not usual. In this case, I have not been able to use watercolors, since its basis is transparency on white. I used markers with a component similar to watercolor and other opaque acrylics to make the flashes appear that make these drawings different images.
I have sought to capture the light, sometimes reflected in the walls, others in the water, but always present as the main protagonist of THE PLACES.

Drawing since I remember. Professionally since 1984. I started architecture studies. I draw books, notebooks, blackboards. I like to draw food and buildings.
I have published a book "travel notebook" of the Besòs, I have another book about Barcelona drawn on gray paper, at this time in print and I have illustrated three cookbooks.
I belong to the SGAE and Urban sketchers of Barcelona.
I am a professor of Drawing, I have taught courses at home Elizalde, Kubik, in the workshops of TEDxGracia, Civic Centers of Barcelona, Compostela Illustrada.
