If someone had the money and imagination they could convert some of these structures into very nice homes. Merry Christmas everyone 🎄

I always thought it would be a good idea for someone to convert some of these places into laser tag areas for kids. That would give younger people the opportunity to learn about ww2 as well as have some fun and the profits could be used to maintain and protect these locations.

I can never get over how well this bunkers were made, and most, the Allies could not destroy them after they took over these areas, just shows how well they were built. Thanks for sharing and take care of that back. Great drone shots by the way.

Very sorry to hear about your sore back HH. I know that you put your all into your WW2 history explorations and we appreciate all the hard work, but please be careful. I hope that your back is on the mend sooner than later. That first fortified bunker was very huge with extremely thick walls that withstood the test of time. Ventilation system seemed quite intricate and efficient. And yes your Oilight is freaking awesome! What would you do without it HH? Wonder who took the bunker oven and if they were able to use it for their own personal use? The cows know when they have a cozy little shelter to hang out in and occasionally take a dump. The bitumen sure lasted a long time and seemed to be effective in protecting the roof from the weather elements. Quite an efficient layout with the multiple ammunition storage units on the perimeter of the round 20mm flak gun pedestal. Second bunker was also very solid and thick walled with the added addition. Good idea with the shutters over the machine gun positions, protecting the soldiers from the elements. In very good shape in the inside with so much detail. A shame that one room was filled with water. Amazing to see the original cables there for the generator and heater. Phenomenal aerial views with the drone EE. You did an amazing job. Also liked the tunes accompanying the journey. Numerous structures in that location waiting to be further explored. Thoroughly enjoyed it HH & EE. Thank you just the break I needed from everyday life. :) Merry Christmas everyone.

Those bunkers just amaze me and nostalgia of bien in there. It would be so neat to find a German soldier that was stationed at one of the bunkers and get his stories and how it was used. Have a merry Christmas. And to the men and woman that died in ww2 and other wars that didn’t get to come back home during Christmas.

The fortified German Tobruk was quite large with the thick roof and solid structure. Surprised to see the bitumen still intact on the roof. A shame there was some flooding, but you were still able to show us quite a bit. How dare those cows using one of the room as their own private bathroom. Have they no respect. Emergency exit looked quite effective. FLAK towers were also something to see with the 20mm gun pedestal. Very large hinges on the doors of the soldier's bunker. It was also a good size and the walls were still quite clean and in great condition. Excellent drone shots EE - way to go. Thank you for taking us there HH and EE. Please take care of that back of your's HH.

You are definitely right about being a fantastic location. The engineering is amazing. Did anyone see that animal run across the field in the drone footage? Hope you get better soon.

I am guessing that the first bunker that had the wide entrance was for a searchlight to roll out from on rails.
