Great review on these cards. They look so good.
These are with the JN Finish printed by EPCC in China, and decks with that finish are known for clumping much more quickly than a USPCC deck. They tend to fan and spread nicely out of the box, but it doesn't usually last.
What can you tell us about these? People also reported this issue with the Vintage Feel Jerry's Nugget decks in blue and red, and since these are with the same JN finish, I guess it's the same deal here?

Hey David! I was wondering why the JN finish on these cards feels great but the finish on the Stoics from Blaine were terrible. Could it be different stock? I stayed away from the Stoics after watching your review but I have these in Red and think they are great. Love your reviews thanks!

I love this deck. Silver for sure. Got them day one. The benefits of living next to Murphy’s lol. They totally feel different than the vintage from 2019. It’s what the OG vintage should of felt like. Also got a question. Can you maybe start picking a trick on penguin once a month to do a throw back. Like review something that’s older and not sold out that you haven’t already reviewed. So much stuff on there that has no review anywhere. Don’t know what to pick. I’m kinda just buying it all right now. Lol
I review a lot of OLD PENGUIN stuff on the members channel - doing some vintage Sankey stuff there in a week or so. This part of the channel mostly gets new releases.

magicorthodoxy OK yeah I did see that. That’s one of the first times I got to see the Proto types in action. Yeah well I have the expert vintage feel from 2019 and if they feel way better now than they did then. Especially the silver feels really nice compared to the blue or red vintage feel, and then of course the modern from USpcc on the web press. Those are amazing.

I mean that's sorts of how the whole deck collecting thing works TBH. If you have to ask if it's worth it the answer is probably not.

@@magicorthodoxy just got mine today. I can sure say, you really wish you would get them. They seem to feel even better than the other nuggets i have. Smooth like whip cream. Only bad side was that edges need some treatment when opening a new deck. But for sure one of the smoothest decks I have! Just wanted to add some salt to the wounds 😉
Do you think the expert playing cards company is better than the United States playing cards company or not?
quality? it's on par - but you have to get what YOU like better. I like how BIKE'S FEEL - better
