Yea, there goes the $500.00 value of those cards. Once opened, value goes way down but then again, on TBBT when Leonard said about a Mint in Box Star Trek Teleporter Penny got he and Sheldon, "Once you open the box it loses it's value" she said, "yea, yea, my mom gave me that same lecture about my virginity. I gotta tell you, it was a lot more fun taking it out and playing with it"

I love that you opened it. Things like cards, toys, vintage clothes, vintage cars, none of these were made to sit on a shelf. They had a purpose, and it feels so great to use them for that purpose. You can feel the craftsmanship and know what you're working with is gonna last because it was made right. It makes me sad to see people act so scared that you're using something like a deck of cards.

What an excellent lesson to go with the showcase. The respect and care you show for this important piece in wanting to keep it sealed contrasts your decision to open them up and showcase them to us in a way that further displays their uniqueness. Your passion for your hobby shows through in your videos and i love your videos for that.

So cool to get this history chapter. Nice to see how playing cards evolved a lot in the past decades. This now happens with dice, the roleplaying stuff, more and more handmakers, more companies looking for better quality. Amazing to see that cards already have this evolutionary process running. I have a deck of Tally's from this era. Same perforated blue seal and the same feel as the nuggets. Found them at the flea market for $2.

And yes, I knew about the card's and that they were bought by 1 person and although I was very little in the time it all happened, I have known about the Casino because you know children, we all wanted to be a magician and for sure one day you had on your birthday list a Magician's Box as a gift 😁 And yes, I just was too clumsy after year's and year's and my attempt was doomed.. And in that time I learned about Vegas, later on about the whole batch being bought, but not by who.. that part somehow I can't remember.
That's why I have so much fun looking at your channel and that of your friends and others and LOVE to see how alive it all is.. still! I have always followed it throughout my life but on a very low heat level.
But now, since you combined it with cinematography.. I am blown away.. and today for sure...
