My favorite Casino Cards for every purpose: Card games like Poker, Card Magic and Cardistry. Jerry's Nuggets carry the mystique and magic that most cards can't compare with. I got my hands on some Original Jerry's and some of the newest versions of the deck to compare them.
How do they compare? Let's open some packs!
NOTE: I said they were printed in Las Vegas I meant to say they were printed for the Casino in Las Vegas! They were printed at the original USPCC Factory in Ohio.

God Bless & see y'all in the next one!
They’re not really for fanning. They’re really liked for packet cuts. Freaking awesome dude 👏🏼
Thanks yo! and yeah, packet cuts 100%
Omg so many springs and dribbles on those classic Jerry’s. Please don’t ever do that again.XD just packet cuts over freshly washed Egyptian cotton linen, or don’t even breathe towards them lol
A playing card scientist must do their duty my good sir!
awesome video, so exciting that you got to compare all 3! i remember you saying the first time you got to try an original jerry's nuggets deck you didn't like the way they felt. if they're similar to the vintage feel reproductions, which i've tried too, then i can definitely understand why they wouldn't be for everyone. i guess it really isn't a deck suited to all types of cardistry moves, even though some people claim they're The Best Cards Ever. just goes to show that it's all about your personal preference :)
Yeah it's definitely personal preference and that mystique haha
Banger video
Thanks yo! 🙌
So in your opinion, how close are the new vintage feel to the originals?
If we could go back in time and compare the two directly off the shelf then I'd say they're remarkably comparable to each other. Very, very, very similar. The Original Jerry's sat in a warehouse in the desert for over 30 years and then who knows where they sat after that for another 22 years. Because of that they lost some of that sheeny slime you get from new decks which gives cards that slippery feel. But they're pretty similar overall. The Vintage Feel ones really did a great job of trying to replicate it; very impressive.
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
great sharing as always! do you recommend picking up the vintage feels for those who just wanted to know how the original jerry's feels like? and btw, between bee wynn and the original jerry's nugget, which one feels better? those are the two vintage playing cards that're highly sought after.
curious as well, i have the vintage-feel decks and I have no idea how similar to the actual original deck they feel. I only understand that the modern-feel deck is literally like a normal USPCC deck of card printed with the jerry's nugget design.
honestly from what i've heard, the vintage feels are very very close to the originals. people who say otherwise most likely have very sensitive hands from having handled cards for a long time, or they're maybe experiencing some kind of placebo effect :P if you were to acquire an original jerrys deck, my guess is also that at this point, any major differences would stem from how well the original owner stored the deck (away from humidity and sunlight, etc) rather than how the cards were actually made. if you're curious about it i do recommend picking up the vintage feel reproductions! their one glossy side definitely feels unique, and you'll experience a lot of cling in addition to the thickness/stiffness and weight of the cards--you definitely won't mistake them for regular bikes or anything else.
Yeah if you bought them both when they were both brand new (like if you could time travel back to when the originals were released) then yeah they'd feel about the same I'd say. The "vintage feel" stock feels very similar as a deck as a whole if that makes sense. It's when you get to the gloss on the finish that you start to see some differences. Regarding the Wynns, I did a video on those! I'd recommend those because of the price haha. Those are like 40 bucks now I think.
The red on these is I think it's called as coral red.
Old uspcc decks from 1980's or earlier are super glossy, and have an embossed back and a cloth-like texture (not perfectly smooth) on the front.
I have a heavily used bicycle bridge deck from the 1960's and it has a texture like that.
I have 2 bee decks from the 1980's which have the same texture too. and they dont fan right out of the box. Although i heavily played with one of the decks and one year later, it kinda fans now.
Heck, i have a bicycle deck from 1990's, which had both front and back textured (but they're not as glossy as the 1980's decks or even the new ones), and even that doesn't fan right out of the box
Nice yo! and let's not forget my poor fanning skills lol
amazing video
Thanks! \o/
