The Raices 2024 Peralta Latinx Graduation Celebration at Merritt College took place on May 16, 2024. This video is the full, unedited version of the day's events.
Raíces (Roots) celebrates the educational achievements of our Peralta Latina, Latinx, Latino & Chicana, Chicanx, and Chicano students and their families who are completing a certificate, degree, or transferring to a four-year university. This event included celebratory messages from the Peralta Chancellor, College Presidents, Keynote speaker, and student speakers. Graduating students were recognized on stage for their accomplishments.
