  • Here's a little peek into my week at Pottery Bonaire.
It's my first try at making a weekly overview of my ceramic endeavors. :-)
You will see new pots fresh from the kiln, carving and sgraffito and me waffeling. :-D
    Happy potting!

Thank you Sarah, glad you liked it! Hopefully I will have the time to practice this more and make these videos better. I like making them but it does take a lot of time and a lot of interuptions during the day. But hey, it's fun! ❤ from Bonaire!

All I can say again is you are a joy to watch, like an old pottery friend! So happy to have found you miles away on a little island!!! Thanks for sharing what you love.

Thank you. It is so nice to sit in my desert home and learn from you so far away. I never thought to use a dish towel as a cushion so I can continue using a banding wheel. So simple but I predict it will be huge for me.

Hi Jackie, thanks for chiming in! I am so glad these little things help! I also have glued a piece of foam on a bat so I can trim pieces with uneven rims, also helps with working on a banding wheel. I think it makes an appearance in one of my older sgraffito videos. Happy potting!

Hello. A pottery friend told me about you. We will be on island beginning Feb 3 for two weeks and wondering if you accept visitors to your studio or if you teach any one day short classses. I only do hand building these days. Hoping to hear from you. Karen

Hi Karen, you are very welcome to visit my studio! It's open for visitors from Tuesday through Saturday from 12 - 6pm. I do have to pop out sometimes so a message in advance might be a good idea. 😉 You can find me on Facebook or email me at nukuaceramics@gmail.com.
A workshop is unfortunately not possible at the moment as I am out of clay. I am in the midst of ordering but it won't be here for another 4 weeks. Looking forward to meeting you! Monique
