  • Hey beautiful creators!
In this glaze firing I have mugs and vases which I decorated with the sgraffito technique I showed you in my last video. I also did lots of tests!
I tested Georgies Interactive Pigments on my white stoneware clay body and I think they are amazing!
I am definetely going to use these on my work.
They work beautifully on texture so I am of to the studio to make textured pieces! :-)
    Happy creating!
    Monique

A little edit on my blabbering LOL
About the Interactive Pigments: There are 8 pigments and 4 glazes in the kit. So, I made 8 test-tubes, 1 pigment per tube and then 4 glazes per tube. I hope this makes sence! ;-)

Wow! Monique just beautiful. Great to see my mug coming out of your kiln. Absolutely delighted with the turtles. Will remind me of you and your lovely island of Bonaire which we can't wait to revisit. Thanks so much 🙏💓☺

I found your channel because Sarah Amos was drinking from your mug in her last video. Amazing that the first one I watched was this one! I love your work and I will continue to watch. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you T&K! And welcome to my channel, I will try to make more videos, as a matter of fact, I will be filming another kiln opening later today, the kiln is cooling down now... :-) I very much appreciate you taking the time to comment, thanks! Sunny (and hot!) greetings from Bonaire, happy potting, Monique

Your video just popped up in my feed so this is the first of yours I’ve watched. I have to ask you where you live? I hear soo many animals in the background. I feel like you could record it and sell it!!! I love your enthusiasm as well.

Hi Michele! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I live on the beautiful Island Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean. The roosters, chickens, donkeys, goats and lots of birds roam around here all the time. As my studio is outside I always have a live audience, so much fun! Grtz, Monique

Hi Maree, thanks for reaching out and asking. Very much appreciated! Sure, go ahead and make a blue flower pot, have fun! If someone asks about it, a mention from where you got the idea would be nice but if my design has inspired you go for it. Take the inspiration and make it your own, be original if you can, good luck!

Becarful the Georgie’s interactive pigments is not food safe

I know they are not foodsafe when used directly out of the jar. They are foodsafe when diluted 50% and with a foodsafe and stable glaze over it. However, I won't take any risk and only use them on decorative pieces or on the outside of pieces. Thank you for chiming in! Monique
