- A new card for Sisay! A legendary Grand abolisher! Now sisay can tutor for this. But it will both give you card draw and protect you on your turn. It is also a cat and we like that!

I saw this and thought "Mons will eat this up"
hahaha. I might!
That's a crazy uncommon
YES! For an uncommon it is actually really good on the average. I do like that. It means budget decks will have a better access to the format.
Wow, yeah. I assumed this was a rare at first based on strength alone
Mental
I thought the same actually!
A Grand Abolisher at Uncommon is nuts.
I mean, you have to play green which usually sucks, but it's a WARRIOR which feels like it makes this a slam dunk for Najeela as well.
I don't think most Najeela lists care about the Warrior tag too much, but might be a nice bonus.
@@ondrejbronec837Exactly, you never play a card because it's a warrior, but whenever a creature that's goes in the list is a warrior is a nice bonus
It is also a huge addition to Shalai and Hallar. Already an under the radar great deck that is gaining three great boosts this month in this card, the new Blind Obedience on a stick and Legolas' quick reflexes from the LOTR holiday edition.
I think Kutzil will also see play in Najeela, being a warrior. This deck sometimes play Flowering of the white tree anyway, and with this card it Will easily draw 3 extra cards per turn.
Which card is the BO on a stick you were referring to? Haven’t been keeping up with spoilers/news, but I do run Shalai/Hallar so I’m definitely interested
@@xSkye629x Dauntless Dismantler, also from the upcoming Ixalan set. With these three cards I think our deck is getting a big boost.
Ok I no ghave is dead. I am fully aware, but this is another fine card for that deck also.
*Cries that ghave is not playable anymore*
Nice video as per usual
We need 2 cmc UW legendary rule of law! Next up!
OMG YES! Your tricks to interact with that would be crazy.
Surprised no one mentions Jetmir
To be honest. I don't really want to recommend that commander. It is a cool commander. But for cEDH combat strategies aren't working that great. I have looked at Jetmir's tournament performance and it is not that great. Jetmir currently has 14% winrate in tournaments from 19 decks.
The first decks I thought of were Rocco, blood pod, Shalai and Hallar for the abolisher effect and ellivere for the draw effect.
I knew this card was going to get a video!
100%!
Uncommon!? The power creep is real...
Veet nice! What are some other new cards you like sisay?
Great video as always!! I wonder ehat your opinion on the new Tishana Tidebender is? I will definitely run it as it cancels so many things, commanders, rhystic, one ring and the list goes on
I do like it. But I am not sure wheter I like Nimble Obstructionist or Tishana Tidebender more. I do like cantrips. I have it in my The Rani deck currently. I kinda want to play test it.
3 mana seems a bit too much for it. Especially since it stops only one person and doesn't give you any value in return. It is essentially not much better than a counterspell. Yes it locks down commanders, but also can be easily removed. Nimble Obstructionist looks better in many situations since it will draw you a card and can't be countered.
Looks like a great tech card against many of the strong Commanders (Sisay, Najeela, Winnota etc.), but a subpar counterspell in a pod with decks that don't really on their Commander too much. Still might be worth it based on the meta, but I will need a really good reason to include it myself.
Also unless the translation I seen is wrong it doesn't stop Remora or Rhystic - only creatures, artifacts and planeswalkers get turned off. That reduces the usefulness drastically. It also doesn't work on Kinnan since his triggers are mana abilities. That would also bump it up a notch in my book given how often I see him.
As someone who runs stifle, trickbind, and nimble in Talion, I will be testing it :). There are many things I would like to turn off indefinitely (Tivit being a big one)
Maybe this is great in Ellivere
a friend of mine is testing yoshimaru/Thrasios, hes gonna love this fella.
also does Sisay play agatha soul cauldon? since its "fixes" sisay activation and could put counters on creatures.
I think that the agatha soul cauldon is a 100% auto include.
Hmm. Even worth dropping one in a casual cat tribal build. Meowwwww. 🫰
This is rather insane for an uncommon slot.
YES! For an uncommon it is actually really good on the average. I do like that. It means budget decks will have a better access to the format.
Yes saw that too but isn’t the consider list for Sisay already longer than the actual list? Will stick with Teferi as he combos with Displacer Kitten.
Elivere turns this card into a massive burst draw engine every combat step. And allows you to safely cast your stax or other engines
Great cards, but not sure could compete in 99, 3eferi has higher ceiling (combo with Kitten+dockside+removal) even.with lower ground. Let's test it.
You just play both. I play silence and Teferi and was even trying out Myrel (ultimatily came to the suprising conclusion it is too expensive). This is an amazing card and is a great draw from your 99, but outside of weird slower staxy games it will not be searched out IMO.
Two decks you missed here:
Shalai and Hallar, which someone else already named, but, even better I think Ellivere of the Wild Court.
I realize she's fairly new, and also sadly has a stax gameplan, but this card is amazing in that deck.
Ellivere already buffs up all of her creatures, so you will almost always be drawing your max of 3 cards from Kutzil!
