I have a little more inside into the Günther question: I'm a german viewer so obviously I watch Sky Sport Germany. Günther is back on the Sky Roaster starting this season. He didn´t do interviews with them for a couple season now, cause Ralf Schumacher (Mick's uncle) is a big part of their commentator/ expert group for every GP and Günther and Ralf apparently had a disagreement/ falling out over decisions made regarding Mick when he was with Haas. They have said after Bahrain that they talked it out or I think as Ralf put it agree to disagree. Not sure about the specifics though - I just remember it being a super awkward scene and especially Ralf not looking pleased with at all. I watched the Sky Sports Germany interview/ re-introduction of Günther in Bahrain, so that’s where the info is from.
This race was definitely a fun one to bring some much needed light back into things (without ignoring the continuing situation)!! Albert Park literally looks like it has the best vibes, and while I think I would crumble within the chaos, it's quickly becoming a bucket list race!
Australia reminds me of Zandvoort, which seem to be my fave vibes from tracks overall!

personally I don't think the red flag was necessary or that it was dangerous that it wasn't used. obviously George was right to be scared because he didn't know where anyone behind him was. but the closest driver was Lance and he was 12 seconds back and had enough time to slow down and pass safely with the double yellow/vsc and everyone behind Lance was far enough back that there was no danger to George. and by the time everyone came around on the cool down lap George was already in the medical car. tldr the cars behind George were so far back that the red flag wouldn't have done anything that the double yellows didn't already do

Great stuff. I do think Mercedes would be probably the best option for Carlos, and that he'd be quite justified in requesting a "No 1 driver" clause in his contract. Obviously George wouldn't like this, but the onus is on him to show the team he's capable of stepping up - and I don't think he'd be satisfied with becoming top dog just because Lewis left.
I would love an in depth episode about the various complaints/accusations surrounding everything. I feel like I have a very base level understanding of everything but want to know more!

Great episode! I really hope Williams rewards Logan long term. They pulled him up into a car last year with next to no/very delayed upgrades compared to Alex. Now they pull him from a race as they have no spare chassis. Has he even had a fair shot at points? My vote is for Fernando on Chicken Shop, he'd get the humor. He'd turn on the flirting skills. Love Amelia's humor.

With so many seats up for grabs this year, no one needs to rush right now. Drivers should get a good feel for how the teams are doing, and the teams need to get a good feel about how the drivers are doing. I feel like it will be summer before some things starting moving.

Yuki is the obvious funniest choice for the date because it would be so awkward. Redbull would always pick Max. You really don't know how F1 operates. These are million dollar decisions.

Using filler words/connecting words after one person is done with their sentence is normal, but listening to a 1hr podcast where you guys keep talking over one another starts to really add up, I hope I don't come across as mean. This has been bothering me from the first ep of this season, I love the podcast that's why I can't stop listening to it even if they're some things I don't like
