As someone who refuses to redownload netflix since it kicked me off and has only managed to watch the first few episodes at the in laws house, thank you for the recap 😂
It’s also super weird to have watched almost the entire season last year then re watch stuff I saw live 😂
I mean Nyck had a lot more racing experience in F2 and FE and just as a whole a more experienced driver compared to Yuki who was kinda fasttracked to F1 like Logan, Yuki also had a reputation for being more mistake prone and just too aggressive sometimes. I completely understood his thought process actually making that statement, the thing with Nyck is he just doesn't have the raw speed Yuki has imo. I did feel bad for him though and do think he should have been given a season. It seems like the expectation from Redbull was that Nyck would outscore Yuki from the off which I think is very unrealistic and he was kinda doomed from the start.

George Could have been talking about any drivers during his time at Williams F1 but also KIMI was on the grid during that time.. He is OBVIOUSLY the dirver in quesiton

The only good thing was James Vowels haha...I got frustrated at the mix up of radios/image and how they said Zandvoort for Danny but shows him arriving ad Budapest - did get excited seeing myself in it though haha
I also got to use James's caffeine talk at work today - a college said she doesn't drink coffee on weekends so her Monday morning one works, I was like ooh I have a fact!
In the UK we have a thing called 'Snack Wars for Lad Bible' Yuki should be on it!
Two more drain cover incidents during testing will make Zoe happy. 😅 Seriously though: something has to be done about that, people could be killed. Then there's the hundreds of thousands' worth of damage to the cars, who's gonna pay? It's extremely stupid and unfair, provisions must be added to the rules for these kind things. 🤷♂
they've gotta get it fixed!

Someone on twitter pointed out that Kika literally got more screentime than Zhou in the whole season-- no hate to Kika! I think she seems lovely and her and Pierre appear to have a wonderful relationship!!-- but Netflix?! Get it together!!! I know Alfa was not doing anything mind blowing this season, but I better see a fire home race episode for Zhou after China GP!
Episode 9 made me so angry because of the way they framed it.

this is the problem...even if netflix portraits zak as a funny goofy person...people still hates him because of the danny ric episode...like comeon..move on..i mean look how hard its to become a ceo...he has to give answers to everyone...what else was he supposed to do..keep daniel and loose all the sponsors..seriously get a life and stop saying i don't like zak brown
Zak had every right to fire Daniel, we have zero problem with that lol
DTS is lackluster with editing. We need fresh minds and eyes to film and edit. Haven't watched after season 2. Most of the drivers have their own documentaries and those are far more interesting.

Danica annoys me too but she's kinda the only option if you want a female racer to give her views on f1 haha she doesn't have f1 experience but she does have decent open wheel racing experience, and yeah her chemistry with Jenson is just off. I think she's just too American for sky, and tbh I have seen Jenson on podcasts with Americans and he had a similar vibe there as well like he does with Danica so I think he's contributing to the weird vibe too.
There are so many women other than Danica that they could have used for this. Claire Williams, she was in this series but not enough in my opinion. Also Susie Wolff actually drove in F1 and has been involved in racing her entire career, ran the Formula E series and is now head of the F1 academy.
@@jancam464 Claire never raced so she can only talk about it from a TP point of view. Susie Wolff never raced past F3 unlike Danica who won at the top level in Indycar, she did drive in a couple practice sessions but that's really it. So I do still believe that if you want a top level female racer to talk from the point of view of a driver, Danica is the best you got. There are a lot of really good female drivers in WEC and feeder series but I don't think they have enough clout for DTS. Now if we're talking if Danica is a good representative for females in racing or not, then there are many other women in the paddock you could have on.
