Danzo is actually a really Good "Villain" type of Character. The Fact that he made everyone hate him everytime he is on screen

This is why Nagato is probably my favourite character from the series. His arc transcends typical shounen anime to real world problems.

What's sadder than the Fact that Yahiko died is that His & the Organization's Original Dream/Goal died with them. The Bridge that would've led to Peace was suddenly Broken and fell into the Dark Abyss. I think this is just like what happened to Sasuke and Itachi. Instead of continuing the Path/Goal their loved one(they lost) was fighting for, they chose to rather give vengeance to those who inflicted pain to them. That's the Part where Naruto became a different person, instead of choosing the path of vengeance, he learned to not go that Deceptive path and to rather focus on his Original Path that his Master Entrusted to himâ€ïžđŻ

Imagine 3 army from 3 different countries call your home (country) as war zone
And you just run away from your own home to save your life
And when the war ends , the other 3 country will survive and rebuild for the next war

If I was Nagato, living the life he lived, yet still tried to make the world a better place, but in the process kept losing people one after the other because no one wanted to listen, I would have gone crazy too...

The prevailing theme of Naruto is that War is Hell. That's why so many villains are messed up, and it's why the ultimate villains and Naruto share the same dream of creating peace. Their methods are where they differ. It's something I absolutely love about Naruto the story. When your villains and your protagonists share similar goals, the themes of understanding and forgiveness ring more true. They share common ground, so it makes sense that there's a way they could eventually come to agree. It's definitely something unique about Naruto compared to most Shonen, and it's an indication that Kishimoto truly did want to tackle real-world problems through this medium.

I think the thing I love more about this show is the fact when you are watching the last part of Naruto Shippuden you realize 50% not to say more of OG and Shippuden was build up and most little details are not just for fun đđŒ

I just love Nagato's back-story. Anything about Nagato amuses me. I remember making a river in my house whilst watching Yahiko sacrifice himself for Konan and Nagato on the tv. It still makes me so emotional when watching that scene.
Lemme tell u also that Danzo is the character that you don't have any emotions for. Even when you learn his backstory your like Frig off.

He could have done the almighty pull or someshit. Great way to create conflict and a good back story to a great "villain" though.
The thing is even kids can be ninja and a real threat as well, so there is no way to tell based on a silhouette whether one is a ninja or not till they took a closer look after, which is the sad truth for Nagato and his family

It honestly was strange to me that the Third Hokage would allow Danzo to lead an intelligence division called Anbu Black Ops that would only respond to him instead of the Hokage. Having that kind of power dynamic is dangerous when thinking about it from a systemic perspective. Perhaps the Third Hokage thought that Danzo's less idealistic perspective could be useful in governing the Hidden Leaf Village. But, Danzo conducting his own operations without the consent of the Hokage is way too much flexibility given to him by the Hokage. There is so much that could have been avoided if either Danzo was out of the picture earlier or if Danzo actually respected the Hokage's authority despite differing philosophies.

I help you with understanding Danzo. Many people who have a let's say more simplistic understanding of good and evil, right and wrong , see Danzo as a bad character.
But in reality all what danzo does is for the sake of the leaf village.
Danzo only does things in a more, hmm how to say..... REAL SHINOBI way. Cold, no emotion, strategic etc...
Dont forget Danzo trains the Anbo Black ops.... Kakashi was an Anbu just like Itachi just like many other skilled ninjas and the Anbu thing is something that ALL villages have.
Those are extremely skilled ninja, even as young kids, who are trained to fill out killing, hunting rouge ninjas and other difficult missions ...and those mission are often assassinations, getting intel , extreme stuff .
Many people are used with the nice way how Naruto and the other kids were trained, but in reality Danzo represents what the shinobi ninja world really is.
Were emotions and mistakes can be certain death .
I would say danzo has his hart in the right place, but he has become twisted by his desire to be hokage, this means he himself let's emotions rule over him sometimes.
You are right, however Danzo doesn't have the Will of Fire. He puts his own desires and ambitions ahead of the village. Because of this almost all problems in Naruto world are literally his fault.

@@_yeojo lets not forget that its a story it's simply written that way, it does not mean that in reality things would had turned out like that, that everything Danzo did turned out to create more harm than good. ...
But a story needs its drama, it's villains, its anti heroes etc then stuff needs to be written.
In reality Danzo is no different than all the other villages real ninjas who are trained to kill and win fights not talk for 30 minutes their opponent down.
The blood mist village, or just like the village hidden in the clouds, they all have their assassins and people who work behind the scenes.
Danzo is simply relevant because the story is about a NARUTO a guy from the hidden leaf village, that's why we spend time with characters from that village the most.
But in reality the Naruto universe is full with Danzo type ninjas ( at least it should be ) ... cold, logical, calculated. Every village has their Danzo.
In fact NARUTO would be much more interesting of an anime if most fights would be carried out like real Ninjas portrayed in the show ( cold killers,assassin's, silent, deadly etc. )
not with silly 30 minute talking and 29 minutes thinking about the next move.
Thats why i like for example the fight when kakashi was fighting vs Hidan and Kakuzu.
That fight was fast paced. Unlike the previous fight Hidan vs Asuma that fight was lame and dragged out .
Jackie's perspective is amazing about pains of those from the Hidden Leaf compared to pains of the Hidden Rain. Both are incomparably just the worst kinds of experience but one clear thing is that both caused by conflicts and discrimination. Hatred are the embodiment of human being unable to tolerate others and be satisfied and grateful with their current state of life. A very sad human nature.

Remember back in the mission to get the spy at tenchi bridge, Yamato said that Danzo wants to destroy the current Leaf Village because They believe in the Third Hokage's Philosophy and now it's coming true, when the dust is settled he'll build as he Invisions and take center stage as the new Hokage

It's always easy to judge what's on the surface without knowing what's really on the inside and pain/nagato is the perfect example and reminder of that, that's why I love his character without pain we will never learn how to value. knowing should come first before giving judgement.

We were shown how nagato and his parents were in a "completly dark" room... the konoha ninjas literally couldn't see anyone outside of the lit room they were in... when nagato knocked the vase the konoha ninjas went into the dark room from the lit room and literally could not see anything... then this 2 "invisible" people came to them (to protect nagato) so the scared from all the battles konoha ninjas tried to defend themselves...
It is THE MONSTER.

To be fair...from Danzo's perspective:
- a group of kids started an organization that stabilized an entire country,
- they did that in just a few years, and are getting popular with civilians
- they now rival Hanzo's forces, the same Hanzo whom the Hidden Leaf couldn't defeat
- Leaf lost a lot of shinobi during the war. Danzo, being cautious decides to take out this rogue group before they can become trouble for the Leaf in the future.
- The US did the same to Vietnam and Afghanistan
People hate on Danzo,. but he was the realest shinobi, his organization called "Root" literally supports the tree that is Konoha from underground and without him the Leaf would collapse, he is the CIA of the shinobi world.
Danzo really fucked up 5 shinobis with good attention for peace without force.
