Itachi has beaten Minato's scores in the practical exam, even Itachi was very young and graduated in just 1 year from the academy whereas Minato stayed in the academy for a long time. Even in Itachi shinden novel, they mentioned itachi scores was less not bcoz he didn't answer some questions or so actually itachi completed the exam alone whereas minato in a group so higher-ups decided to let minato to be on the top bcoz he fulfilled mission in team while itachi team got injured even before the exam so itachi had to complete the exam alone that's why. Minato was indeed genius but itachi was a genius and prodigy.

Technically speaking the Uzumaki clan doesn't belong to the Village but they have an alliance which means Uzumaki members can go live there due to different reasons (Kushina's would be explained in the next episodes) being the Village which gives them a place for living during their occupancy.
So the property belongs to the village but they lend it to be used for their allies.
The red swirls on the ninja vest for the leaf is the Uzumaki family crest

15:23 this part broke me. This is probably the first time someone ever said to Naruto "I love you". And I know Japanese people only use the phrase "Aishiteru" for their really close family members or partner. This is why Japanese dub is better since the "I love you" phrase have more impact and deep meaning.
Yea Japanese dub sounds way better dialogue wise for a lot of naruto naruto dub is good for some voice actors

@@tailyangkodo she said "Daisuki' which is more along the lines of 'I really like you'. Aishiteru means 'I love you' but it's a very intense way of saying it which is why it's pretty rarely said for the more reserved Japanese culture (even among married couples). To say 'Aishiteru' is like saying "you mean more to me than anyone else in this world" kind of I love you. This is one of those instances where some things can be linguistically translated but not culturally translated from Japanese to English

Some people hated flashbacks but I do like them specially when it involve interesting characters.
Nobody hates relevant flashbacks which add depth to the plot. What we hate is the same flashback repeating again and again like them showing Sasuke and Naruto's first fight at the final valley, Kurama destroying Konoha, flashbacks from the sasuke retrieval arc, etc.
People hate seeing stuff they've already saw multiple times. If there new info and visuals in the flashback there's nothing wrong with it.

Studio Pierrot (for Naruto Shippuden) and Toei Animation (for One Piece) are well known (for most people) as the worst Anime studios because of those type of reasons

The experiences and scenes of naruto meeting his parents and the dialogs the writter uses are just fantastic . Really helps to build out mc's character further after the pain arc and introduced us to 2 more awesome characters . Minato and kushina .. . đŻ

They call her outsider because she is not from the hidden leaf village, Kushina is from Uzushiogakure. The Uzumaki clan was distant blood relatives of the Senju clan and as such, both were on good terms; an alliance that extended onto their hidden villages - Konohagakure and Uzushiogakure.
Everytime I watch this I cant stop my tears. This is just so beautiful how Kishimoto portrayed this.

Enter Kushina Uzumaki. One of the most instantly loveable characters in all of Naruto.
The scene that naruto realizes she's his mother really touches me... It's because Naruto always had to train, get stronger, be a hero... But he's never felt a mother's lap, a hug... And, in this moment, Naruto enjoy the sentiment of not being a hero, neigther of being a fighter, but just a child. A child hugging his mother for the first time

The thing with Ao (Mizukage's right hand man) having a byakugan is a different story. He just got it from the past war when Naruto/Neji doesnt born yet.

About the background, I wouldn't count on that to decide if something is in the Leaf Village or not. Naruto very likely doesn't have the architectural and scenery consistency of Berserk or Blame!
Uzumaki Women have a special sealing technique, this is what you see with the spikes and chains. They use their Immense Chakra to seal away Tailed Beats easily which is why before Naruto the other 2 Jinchurriki for the 9 tails were Uzumaki Women.

I think Minatos 4 reaper Death seal is easily the smartest/wisdomful feat in the whole naruto series. He first of all split the chakra of kurama into ying and yang between hinself and Naruto so Naruto could handle it while it was compressed in him for all those years. Then he also put Some of Kushinas chakra in it. Kushina used her world renowned Uzumaki sealing jutsus to tame Kurama.
So Minato didnt just put kurama in his son but he compressed in 1/2 and kept the other half to himself. Without kushinas chakra, Naruto would have never gotten KCM mode.
The filler movie about them as a family was good

Well pain destroyed the village sooooo... and honestly the map of the village never really made sense, I mean supposedly the uchiha lived on the outskirts, and when they show that they show a diagram of their area being just outside the wall, but everytime they show an aerial view, everything is inside the wall. And when pain destroys it, you see that the rubble pushes up against the wall. And the only game I played doesnt answer these questions if I remember correctly.
No Kushina wasn't rich but as a Uzumaki Woman she was housed with a High noble family of the Senju Clan.....

I never realized till now that His moms red hair, and The blonde hair would make orange. He was always wearing orange clothes(Seems to be Favorite color). I've watched Naruto like 5 times and it never crossed my mind till now when Kushina says the Haberno, and Yellow Flash. Naruto says Orange Hokage. It all makes sense now.
