No! You left out rach 2! 😭
I was sure that any video ranking the romance of a piece wouldn’t be complete without it.

    Liszt my beloved Liszt.
I think Alkan at least can get a Phone # or Date Night because of his Les Quatre Ages (the first two of it sounds beautiful)

The 3rd movement is also great. I prefer it over the 1st mvt if you ask me since that movement is repetitive for me, the only good parts were the middle section and the coda but It's not to say it's a bad piece though.

Makes sens that Liszt was involved in at least 26 love affairs during his younger years and also makes sens that women would throw underwear at the stage during his concerts
Also, a couple others are consolation no 3, transcendental etude no 9 and un sospiro

I heard the third movement of Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata play in the background but it was not in the ranking, ironic, as it is one of the most romantic, beautiful and emotional pieces in the repertoire.

Also the prelude in D major from his Op. 23 set, it's one of my favorite pieces in piano literature. Rachmaninoff was great at using the piano to its fullest potential while still being pianistic in my opinion.

I've never liked the Tchaikovsky Concerto much somehow, but I like it a bit more with Hilary's interpretation, her opening, the fact that she does the second movement with a mute... It fits. For me, Hilary's tone and texture isn't the most luscious or romantic, however, it is straight to the point. Just what it needs to be, pure, no extras. And since the Tchaik is so sugary and romantic already I really love how Hilary Hahn's playing balances that out
Edit: sorry, this has not much to do with the video. I just jumped on the opportunity when I saw you picked her recording lol

Since the Adagietto and Meditation both made an appearance, I feel like I should chime in and say this:
Neither piece is normally played the way it should be. There's a thick fog of false tradition lying over these pieces. Listen to the recording of Adagietto by Barshai and the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, and then listen to the recording of Meditation by Fritz Kreisler. I think you'll find that these recordings hit pretty different. Ultimately, though, I think they're much more "correct".
Another recommendation for the list is Tchaikovsky's Souvenir d'un lieu cher. The first and third movements in particular.

I learned and performed the first third of Liebestraum in a spoken word poetry event my best friend's wife organized for her birthday at her request. Much more potent piece than I had surmised when hearing it.
Edit: Liszt was indeed the master rizzler. Read a bit about his romantic entanglements sometime when you're feeling bored.

Where is Wagner?! Granted he was not a looker but he demonstrably had “rizz” considering his numerous scandalous affairs (including Liszt’s own daughter) and the Tristan und Isolde prelude, I mean c’mon?! Only Mahler comes close. Also, there’s the fact that he’s, ya know, a TITAN of Western Art.

Well, of course Liszt is the definitve rizz, he was literally a man icon in his youth, and women were crazy for him (see Lisztomania: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisztomania?wprov=sfla1 ).
