Ichigo barely lost . It was close. Honestly, he was killed by Zaraki by that heart stab, to the point his pulse stopped, so coming back from the dead and cutting up Zaraki to the point he almost won is like winning in itself. Zaraki would probably take this as a loss , despite barely winning.
It really shows how strong kenpachi is when Ichigo need to use plot to be equal to him.
