The 15th level: Crazy Gadget! This is a pretty hard and long level to get an A rank in. Try to destroy as many enemies as possible while retaining tons of rings! Score needed: 17000
Man, I dont know who did the bass for this game, but it rocks! Not just the bass, but the music overall. When I was little, I would goto the sound test and spend so much time just listening to some of the songs. (Specifically the music for the boss fight with the king ghost, I forgot his name). Anyway, since then ive learned how to play the bass, and ive really come to appreciate the music a lot more in this game.
Eggman is terrifying in this game more than he was in the first game, as he threatened to kill Amy if Sonic doesn't show up, although in the first one he did threaten to make mincemeat out of Tails if he didn't get out of his way.
The block puzzle.... The artificial chaos and there tentacle bullshit.... You make it look so easy, and i applaud you on that. Good job with the video and game play.
I used to love Sonic adventure 2 battle.. i had Chao guides and everything. what i am learning from watching someone 100% it is how little i actually played it, i would just spam the first 5 levels to get gems and animals for my chao... who knew...
You have to be kidding me. When I had this Game, like 15 years ago I always cursed this level because I really had a bad time to complete it at 100% because of this stage. I always died at the last part (the color blocks). Always thoughted I had to reach the blue block after jumping the boing in the yellow block (a very few times I got it, even I thoughted ir was a ver y unfair part jaja) but now I notice that I had to go down and not to up!!! Jaja all that frustration for nothing.
I just completed this level, and the Hero Story today. Almost all E ranks. Edit: Now have an A rank on this level, and A,B,C,D ranks on other levels. Only one E rank.
Maybe i am the only one but it is my third favourite level in the game since not only it has a lot of platforming but also allows you to play at your own pace even the puzzle room can be completed with ease if you think out of the box
@@Eshanthegreat There's no "thinking outside the box" required at the final section, you run to the end of each area and flip the switch or hit the spring. You can play at your own pace in most other stages unless you have a time limit or aren't trying to get an A-rank.
@@AkameGaKillfan777 Actually there is out of the box thinking for example in this video you can just keep flipping the switches which is gonna take a lot of time however if you are smart you can first jump to red block below then flip the gravity switch on left hand side of it after which you will land on top of purple block and then you can now jump to land on the narrow platform below use bounce to land on top of gravity switch and hit the missile switch and finally spin dash jump all the way up to the end section and about playing at your own pace i meant that there is a single time where the level actually requires you to stop and wait other times you are really playing by pure skills for example there is no such thing in sonic 1 which is why marble garden is so hated since you have to let the level open up the way for progression rather than figuring out cool skips
At 3:28 you can charge a spindash and jump over the gap without having to hit the switches to change the gravity, saving you some time. Anyway, thanks for the videos.
Am I the only one who likes this stage? Yeah it's hard, but not in a ridiculous way like some other Sonic levels. Overall I love pretty much every speed stage in the Adventure games.
I use ancient light whenever I see a road of enemies before the road of rings. That way, I'm locked from using the bounce and homing attack since Sonic doesn't have the blue aura surrounding him, leaving the only movement for it to be lightspeed dash. It's a safer way rather than relying on your luck (RNG) and falling to your doom and having to play the stage all over again to guarantee the A rank.
Just got a dreamcast recently and both sonic adventure games. I have so much trouble with this mission for no reason lol. I beat the GameCube version so easy
B Rank that's the Best i can Do The Artifical Chaos are Really Annoying with those Lasers and Stretching Arms. The GUN Robots and GUN Beetles Aren't even annoying me as much.
I don’t understand the Criteria for an A rank with this shit like I played this level akin to this guy with but. Do i have to reach 300 rings or smth???
The first major difference between GameCube and Dreamcast I noticed were the absolute sticky and janky nature of everything in this level on Dreamcast and how much more lenient Dreamcast scoring is here. Second difference is that I got lower time and more rings than you on Metal Harbor and still didn't get A on Dreamcast. The scoring is much less lenient there. Darkspinessonic and his low rocket route for Metal Harbor video is the only reason I could A Rank those on Dreamcast. Final Rush and the driving nonsense and Knuckles stuff is pretty much the same.

Jun Senoue, if you're still wondering.
@@samuels7228 Yea, he is a legend. The music in this game is fantastic imo

I remember this stage made me cry as a kid lmao.
this level is hard even with mods
“Well done Sonic, but you’ll never leave this time alIVE… haHAaaa” lmaooo
3:51 I love that line but... Isn't Sonic in outer space rather than a room?
Right 😂😂😂 I still love the “HAHA” at the end
1:21 The dark green void here is really creepy.
Also I'm not the only person who doesn't like how janky this stage is.
No, it actually might be my least favorite Sonic level in the game. At the very least it's second behind Pyramid Cave.

Bro this zone is literally hell I was stuck on this for 2 hours and had to look up this video
3d scrap brain zone. i hate this stage LMAO
The stage itself is not necessarily bad design, it`s a confusing one & also the camera becomes a traitor
The game bullshitted you out this gold beatle xD
THIS HELP SO MUCH TTY
I will never get A rank on everything in SA2 because of this level and mad space
holy sh*t! :O 19170 points!!! you just need 16000 for A rank XD

No I love this level because of the music and the challenge
Did anybody try using ancient light attack on the enemy at 1:33? It's quite the show.

My fav sa2 sonic level
I beat the gravity room in a different way lol didnt even know about this
This level is a mess, and there are people who still says that Final Rush is even more harder.
final rush is hard but its enjoyable unlike this level
I had fun a ranking this level. What wasn’t fun was mission 4 of radical highway
Whose voice is that at 3:51? Doesn't sound like eggman
Just got a dreamcast recently and both sonic adventure games. I have so much trouble with this mission for no reason lol. I beat the GameCube version so easy
The GameCube and dreamcast have no difference in difficulty

Get atleast 12000 score and get a 5000 time bonus and you should get the a rank
YESSSS I JUST REPLAYED SA2 TODAY AND GOT A RANK FIRST TRY
This level is so bad that sonic says the level is a pain in the ass if u wait long enough.

Not sure about Dreamcast, but on GameCube the A-rank score requirement for Metal Harbor is 20,000.

This Stage took less tries than any other Stage, it's just defeating enemies and grabbing rings...
you have to be joking this stage is stupid
