I bought many ISDT Q6 nano and not skyrc because it can not only do storage charged but you can choose storage voltage range from 3.6v to 4v. Very useful when you have old lipos that tends to selfdischarge faster than usual. This new ISDT charger added new function but removed the essential function that make ISDT great. Hope an update or v2 solves that.

I have one, it’s quite nice I use it with a high capacity/output powerbank when on the go. It is slightly frustrating it doesn’t do storage charge and discharging without using it as a power supply to charge phones.

If only its possible for them to add a storage/discharge function that allows you to plug the lipo via the balance and charge lead...and discharge it by charging a device via the USB C output. The lipo can be monitored to stop at 3.86v (or something that you can set via the app) when its charging the USB C device. Even their Batt Checker Batt GO BG-8S can do that.
They should also add an option in the app where you can manually set the charging voltage so you can choose to stop at 3.86v when putting flat batteries back to storage.

this is a nice little charger, I use them to charge my 4-6s batteries from external DC or as a backup source/PD powerbank with Li-Ion's batteries for laptop etc... I have skyr b6 neo, and they are similar, ISDT has higher current for charging via balance port (800ma) and skyrc has only 500. In case skyrc will have a bigger balance current, would have been a better choice because of that and because it has storage/discharge mode. ISDT air8 has 1500mA and is noticeably faster because of that.
Do you think they can add storage mode to 608pd via firmware update ?
This will come in handy when you have a powerbank to power it. And USB C gan chargers are getting smaller as well.
I think that you are spot on. I can see this as a cheaper compact charger for those with a USB power source who are trading up from tiny whoops... Happy flying
Thinking about upgrading from my Q8 that's always had touch screen issues with it. Though I'm not sure if I should just get the AC version of the 608 instead of the PD version.
no LiIon supprt or charge voltsge below 4v? 😢
I use my Toolkitrc M8 at the field each time I fly and can connect to my car battery if needed. Is there a reason for this as well ?
