    Make your map bigger and don't laser focus on Kharkiv. First, they are stretching out the AFU forces. Second, they can move south to fullfil the objective of clearing the Donbas. Third, depending on the AFU response, they can push hard in other areas where Ukraine is pulling forces to man the Kharkiv line. The main attack could literally be Kherson. Heavy battles near Volchansk, machine gun fire thunders on the northern outskirts. This was also admitted by the head of the city administration Tamaz Gambarashvili. “Yes, indeed, on the northern border of the city itself you can hear machine gun shots and explosions. But Volchansk is located 4 km from the border, and this zone is constantly under fire, there are constant battles,” he said. He avoided answering the question whether there are Russian military in the city: “now this information has not been officially confirmed, because the military is currently working.” Well I can assure you: The Russian Armed Forces have entered the first streets of Volchansk.

GUR officers and Kraken are rushed into battle, entire brigades are withdrawn from other directions, Mongolian-tactics which opens the road in other directions. the Russian Armed Forces are using aviation, artillery, MLRS, TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems, FABs, precision guided bombs and (hypersonic) missiles. If they get to Lyptsi there is a potential they could cut supply lines to regions in between the two roads and potential collapse that cental section to the point that both russian 'saliants' join up. But it does appear there are some smaller roads that could still be used to resupply troops in that central region. But if the Ukrainian troops can keep the russians to the north of both Lyptsi, Izbytski and Chervonoarmiiski Pershe then they will be able keep control of the central region Vesele and Ternova are located

    • @leonnunhofer3453
      @leonnunhofer3453 Před 24 dny +1

      That's close to what I think. I think, it's not about taking the city, but about shooting at civilians, so Ukraine has to engage into russian artillery positions in the hills. For that, Ukraine should have more troops to be successful, and there are 50k russians. So Ukraine would have to pull a lot of troops from all parts of the frontline, and that's impossible. Even mobilising troops won't change that, because they still would need months of training

    • @Notrusbot
      @Notrusbot Před 24 dny

      Russian meat waves are propaganda for Ukraine. Ukraine is doing the same thing, because it simply does not have the shells to prepare for an attack. Russia, by the way, has enough shells. therefore, if you use your brain at 2%, you can understand that if you have shells, then meat assaults are not needed.

    That's exactly what I wrote, when they started their attack. That I think, they will deploy artillery and shoot at the city, to force Ukraine to react and to commit more forces to the defense. It's Russia, so they might even shoot at civilian areas, just so Ukraine has to deploy more forces, and has to pull them from other places from the frontlines 😕

    • @leonnunhofer3453
      @leonnunhofer3453 Před 24 dny

      For russia it is about inexpensive artillery, and even their stocks will run out, but it will take 2 or even 3 more years.
      For Ukraine, it would be about mobile, long range self-propelled artillery or HIMARS, and reconnaissance drones, to spot and destroy russian artillery. That's also what we see basically since Ukraine got western self-propelled howitzers: they destroy thousands pieces of artillery, while losing close to none self-propelled artillery, but Russia replaces them as fast as Ukraine can destroy them, and uses them to destroy Ukraine's positions
      Edit: so basically a clash of 2 different philosophies in terms of artillery.

    • @briansale5619
      @briansale5619 Před 24 dny

      Well I think that the Russians consider Kharkov a Russian city and will just surround it and wait. There is no need to destroy the city as it looks to me that the end of the war could happen in a few months. The Donbass is their main focus and that will not change. They just had to deal with the shelling of Russian territory. This idea of sending troops forward with no tanks like it is a meat grinder is not what is really happening. The troops can and do call on support from drones, air and a curtain of steel in front of them.
